NCC sucks! Yes they got things fixed on my credit, that is not where they fail at. After first set of things were fixed I was in process of closing on a home loan and was told not to do anymore credit fixing or get any new lines of credit. I told NCC this on several occasions. I thought that with the last person I talked to and them putting a note on account "not to do anything else to account till further notice due to pending home loan". Well apparently no one at this company can read or care to even read my file they just see that the next set of "rounds "(disputes) can be sent out. I get 3-5 phone calls a day from a different person at NCC wanting to get more money to send out more disputes, if i don't answer, they leave voicemails of nothing but background noise or heavy breathing. I get emails from different people. Here is the kicker, I just got one on 8/3/15 from Teresa M with a peppy sales pitch on reasons why I need to keep at disputing and how she wants to be the one to help, and her saying how she went ahead and sent an extra 'round'(disputes) out without permission from billing, cause they need money to authorize the next set of disputes. Now didn't I just have it put in my file to hold all work until notice from me that my home loan is closed!!!!! So now because of the lack of reading my file other than to get my email or phone number so they can be the one to get me to commit to paying them more money, I may have issues with getting my home loan approved and/or the risk of the idiotic act affecting aspects of my loan's interest rate being higher because unresolved disputes negatively impact credit scores! NCC is just as bad as bill collectors with the harassing phone calls to get you pay more money for more disputes, or just as bad as a used car salesmen who works off commission! I was going to continue with them after the loan closed, but now I'm done with them, they just lost 2 accounts, my wife and me. And take a real close look at their process for fixing your credit. If something they dispute isn't removed, all they do is basically change the wording of the letter they send to target a different aspect of the negative account, like they will challenge the amount, then if that doesn't work they challenge how old it is.......Basically what they want is for the bank to give up responding so that causes the Equifax to remove it. This is if they don't respond, if they do they keep at it one thing at a time, every 30-45 days, which is how long it usually take to hear back. This is well and good if it takes one time to fix, but if it is a legitimate debt and there is no legal reason for them not to respond or challenge, it will not do you any good how many times they send it out. So every time they send out a round of disputes, it will cost you $50(cost for SC) or whatever your state tells them the max they can charge you to fix your credit. If you think about it this can get costly if its a legitimate debt, but they will keep on trying and keep on charging you. If you want to save $100's of dollars, educate yourself of the Fair Debt Collection Act, your state laws of debt, and go over your records, get contact info for all 3 bureaus and send the letter yourself. its better to send letters the online disputes don't work that well, cause of the limited dispute reason choices they give you online and they have to go by what you put and choose.
