Four years ago, I left this location an outstanding review. Today, I have to take it back. This business has gone completely downhill. I do not even recognize the place I once supported. And to be clear, I am not placing all of that on the current leadership team or the employees. My issue is bigger than that. My issue is with National Pawn as a company. The manager who used to be here made this location feel like part of the community. Literally. He cared. He was fair. He understood that you do not throw nickels at dollars just to squeeze out a bigger profit margin. His philosophy was simple: if both sides made money and both sides walked away respected, that was good business. And guess what? It worked. Over the last year or two, I have brought items here while moving a four-bedroom home, starting a business, ending a business, and handling real-life situations where I had things of actual value. What I have been offered has gone from disappointing to downright insulting. I have had to either swallow my pride and accept numbers that felt disrespectful, or walk away completely. I have lost all faith in this company's ability to be fair, considerate, or even remotely reasonable. The value of what you bring in does not matter anymore. What matters is whether you are desperate enough to accept the lowest number they can get away with. There was a time when you could walk in, ask for a fair amount, and sometimes actually hear, "yes." That time is gone. Now, they will never say yes to what you ask. They will go low. Then lower. Then as low as humanly possible. And one thing I refuse to accept anymore is the excuse of, "Yes, it may be expensive, but how hard is it to sell?" That does not justify offering people insulting numbers. Value is value. If an item is expensive, well-maintained, desirable, or legitimately worth money, then its value should be respected. The difficulty of resale should not become an excuse to lowball the customer into the ground. At some point, that argument stops sounding like business strategy and starts sounding like an admission that the company only knows how to buy things cheaply, not how to actually sell them well. Because if the only way National Pawn can make money is by severely undervaluing what people bring in, then the problem is not the customer's item. The problem is the business model. And while I still respect the people who work at this location, I cannot stomach the way this company now looks at people's belongings things we worked hard to obtain, things we are either ready to part with or are being forced to part with as if they barely matter. I will not be supporting National Pawn anymore. I will not be leaving my five-star reviews up. I posted those reviews across multiple sites, and I will be removing every one of them. I visited National Pawn on a whim. I was riding by and decided to see if I could find a bargain. I wasn't sure what I wanted but I would know if I saw it!! I walked in to a clean welcoming place. I was greeted as I came in by Sean. He asked if there was something he could help me with and I told him I was just looking. He told me if I needed any help, he or one of his colleagues would be glad to help. There were purses on the wall, collectible dolls and all sorts of things that could keep me looking for a while! As I browsed and selected items of interest, I asked Sean question after question. He was so patient and polite. He told me of the type of items they were interested in dealing with, collegiate style clothes, name brand shoes, neat clean pocketbooks and just about anything you could imagine. I had a lengthy browse at the jewelry counter. The next time I'm interested in purchasing some bling for myself, I'lol visit this jewelry counter because you definitely get more bling for your buck! I left without anything that day but will be checking back because you never know when that special something will come in! read more

When I recently visited this store, Nevaeh provided me with amazing customer service. Her enthusiasm for me as a customer was amazing, even though it was closing time, I still received nothing but great service. Because of how enthusiastic she made me feel about buying, I ended up buying a MacBook and an Apple Watch when I only came in for one. Was greeted by Abdi with smile. She directed me to the service desk as we had come in to sell an item. Both the girl at the service desk and Abdi were very courteous and helpful. I stood and browsed and Abdi came to me and answered some questions I had plus got me the TV I wanted to buy. It was an awesome experience, thank yo Abdi.
