I highly recommend National Sealing!  The knowledge and experience in a non-skid sealer for travertine flooring is un-matched in the industry. I contacted Kenny and we spoke several times as he took the time to talk me through the various types of sealers available in the market for travertine stone and their pros and cons. Being in the industrial painting business, I knew enough to understand Kenny was "spot on" explaining the typical sealers that last less than a year versus his product and what made it durable with a life cycle in the 5 year range before re-application is necessary.  I did a lot of research on the website looking for a product which took me to National Sealing. Truthfully, I was a little apprehensive scheduling a company out of Florida and giving them 1/2 down as a deposit living in Beaumont, Texas. However, Kenny stayed in contact with me about schedules and potential time for application (nothing about money) just keeping me up to date as to when his technician would be in the area.  Once we confirmed a date, Kenny sent me a new invoice which was $200 less because he had scheduled other clients in the area which reduced his mobilization cost--he passed the savings on to his client!! Impressive!!  Mark Gorman was the application technician who has been with Kenny for 20+ years and an absolute pleasure to work and extremely knowledgeable of the product. We have a new pool with no screen and travertine pavers for decking. After the fall we knew sealing was not an option due to pollen build up and leaf stains but had concerns with traction around the pool once the stone is sealed. I did extensive research and even tested different sealers/grip on some of the spare travertine we had left over. We did test out the shark grip which seems to be the common solution around Florida however it did not provide the results we were looking for. The shark grip did add some traction however I did not like how easy it was to remove from the stone and seemed that it would not last the entire summer and I would be stuck with slick pavers. After extensive research I found National Sealing online and it appeared they had a solution that I'd not seen anywhere else. After watching the videos, browsing the pictures and reading all the reviews I submitted a request online for more information and Kenny called back the next day. We did go with National Sealing and we are 100% satisfied. The coating brings out all the natural color and veins of the stone and the nano beads provided a traction that far exceeded my expectations without impacting the look of the stone. The level of professionalism and attention to detail from the installation tech was great. He was extremely careful not to get sealer on aluminum posts and the house, even applied some areas with a sponge to ensure there was no overspray. The sealer is water based and did leave the pool a little cloudy as expected but I let the filter run over night with some leslies perfect weekly and it was all cleared up the next morning. I must confess that I don't write a lot of reviews, but I am an avid review reader. However, am I so happy with National Sealing Company that I feel obligated to share my experience. My pool was completed in the summer of 2021 and my deck is stamped concrete. The initial contractor used a water-based sealer without any grip additive. This made my deck an ice rink and several people slipped. My wife and I became terrified of having our kids use our new beautiful pool and we refused to have friends over for fear that they would fall. I called the initial contractor about the issue and their solution was to cover the water-based sealed with an oil-based seal and adding the anti-slip additive. Though this slightly helped, our deck was still very slippery and I was going to paint over our beautiful colored stamped concrete because I felt desperate for a safe solution. This is when I first came across National Sealing Company online and Kenny contacted me right away. Kenny instantly diagnosed our issue and we came up with a plan. Kenny gave me detailed instructions on how to strip the existing sealants and we scheduled a date for National Sealing Company to come apply its non-slip application. I felt so much relief after Mark told me that their application will make our deck non-slip and boy was he right. For starters, I think this is my second online review I've given in my lifetime, but when you have a such a GREAT experience with a service company, you have to share it with other home/business owners. We recently made repairs to our 20 year old pool here in north Atlanta (Cumming, GA). Around the perimeter of the pool we chose to do a stamped overlay and then painted with Colorseal (both products by Multicoat). Our contractor then used a water based sealer and mixed in some product for traction and said it was done. It was dangerously slippery but he assured me it would be fine. After personally slipping and a trip to the chiropractor I knew we had to do something fast. The contractor said he could add "more grit" if I wanted, but I was DONE at that point. After much online research, National Sealing Co. was obviously the company to fix our contractor's debacle. It was reassuring that they not only treated residential but high-traffic commercial areas as well. I reached out to them online and Kenny was prompt getting back with me and answered every question I had. Mark performed the treatment and was INCREDIBLY courteous, professional, and educated me about the nano bead technology throughout the process. Our experience with National Sealing was nothing short of "OUTSTANDING!" Fromm the outset, our customer service representative (Mr. Kenny), was knowledgeable about every type of paver product on the market. He was extremely helpful in guiding us to the best business solution. While National offers a sealer for pavers, we elected the Special coating application, which gives us a longer life cycle before another treatment (approx. 5X longer than regular sealant). Also, our Application Technician (Mr. Mark), was just as professional. He carefully walked through our entire paver project and noted the difference between how the application needed to be applied (i.e., travertine in the backyard and pool deck vs. concrete pavers for our driveway and walkways. We were careful to schedule our power-washing and cleaning according to the weather and had our application done two-days before heavy rains. Immediately during the rain, we could see the "significant" results of our investment, which will last for the next 3-5 years. If you're thinking about a sealer, I recommend getting them coated vs. sealing. The investment is "slightly" more, but the appearance and durability is well worth the cost. When you call, ask for Mr. Kenny; you won't be disappointed with his knowledge or professionalism. Oh one other point, Mr. Kenny will follow up with you during the entire process to include letting you know when the technician is near by and an "after-application" check in to see if you are satisfied. We recently had a travertine patio installed and we were looking for options of how to protect it since a portion of it is going to be in a three-season room and the rest of it is outside. Our goals were to protect the travertine and make sure that it would not be slippery when wet, but we also wanted to be sure that the beauty of the stone would remain visible. I did a Google search and quickly found National Sealing. I was happy to see that they mobilize across the U.S. since they are based out of Florida which is not where we live. The videos and pictures available on their website and YouTube made it very easy to see how the process works. Then we called and talked to Kenny. He did a wonderful job of further explaining the process and answering our questions. We were so thankful that he was able to fit us into their schedule since they were going to be in our area within a week. Mark came yesterday and answered any further questions that I had before starting the process. We chose the NS-200 Coating and had them add Nano Non Slip Beads on the outside portion. Mark did an amazing job and took great care to avoid dirt and mud from rain the previous day. He explained how long to wait before using the patio and how to keep it clean which sounds quite simple. They provided post application instructions so that we have everything in writing as well. Kenny followed up to make sure that everything went well and then sent an invoice by email which was very easy to pay online. We just installed a pool with a large travertine patio. We wanted the travertine sealed but we were concerned about it getting slippery. We started to have it sealed with a product that contained a nonskid additive and got about one third of the pool deck done the first day. The next morning we were able to walk on that portion and it was slippery enough that we stopped right there and looked for other options. After finding their website, one call to National Sealing solved our problems. Kenny gave us all the information we needed to decide that they could coat the travertine with a product that was far superior to a sealer, would last 3 to 5 times longer than a sealer and give us the nonskid protection we were looking for. Mark, the applicator who has been with the company for 20 years arrived in the morning and went over the entire process with us which convinced us even more that we had made the right choice. He got to work and was done by lunch time. Mark is knowledgeable, polite and takes great pride in his work. He did a great job. The next morning we had some rain, so our first time walking on the patio it was wet and the result was fantastic. The patio feels comfortable and safe to walk on when wet and it looks beautiful. We had travertine pavers installed when we remodeled our pool. The company that did the install suggested that we leave the travertines unsealed because they get very slick. We did what they suggested for 3 months in the middle of Florida's rainy season. Algae was a problem from the get go. I used chlorine on them to clear the Algae and noticed some fading in the tiles where it was applied. I power washed but also noticed some of the imperfections of the travertine (porosity) expanded. In addition, the sun was already fading the section exposed to it versus that which was undercover. I had already spent a solid amount to have this product installed and had to find a way to protect it. I searched and found National Sealing, which had a 3 part non slip coating application. The deck turned out awesome. The look of the travertines is enhanced and non slip as they said it would. Easy to work with and accommodating. They are more expensive than the locals, but you get what you pay for and I figured it's a wash when considering this lasts 3X longer and protects against fading. I have seen unsealed Travertines after they were installed 3 years ago in the neighborhood, they are significantly faded and look bad. Other neighbors just had them sealed, and it's like walking on ice. Very dangerous. Get it done right and call these guys. read more

We got our pool and Architectural stamped concrete deck installed this year 2020-2021. Long story short, the mason suggested sealing the concrete. They said they would use a non-slip additive. Well, they turned it into an ice skating rink. They told us it will get better with time. What a joke. My son slipped and hit his head hard, so we flipped and they came the next day to fix it. Second seal was no better than the first. We could not enjoy the pool. We didn't even want to have people over, for fear of someone getting seriously hurt. When we did have family over, my wife and I, were so anxious when people walked around the pool. We felt like lifeguards monitoring everyones move. So we did our homework and researched and found National Sealant Co. I was skeptical of hiring a company from FL to come to NJ to fix our pool deck. I wasn't even sure if it would work. I watched the Youtube videos and read a ton of reviews and decided to call. Kenny really put me at ease. We are so happy we got this done. We no longer live with the fear that someone will slip. Couldnt Be Happier We recently installed Travertine on our lanai and had it sealed in a traditional manner with what amounted to playground sand as an anti slip material. This was done in late August and it became immediately apparent that this was not going to be sufficient. The lanai continued to be quite slippery especially when wet. With small grand children running around and old folks visiting, it was only a matter of time when disaster would strike. I looked on the internet and the ONLY company seemingly offering a solution was National Sealing Co. I looked at their videos and read with some skepticism all the glowing reviews. I called Kenny and he was very helpful in answering my questions and explaining the product. Mark came yesterday and installed the sealant quickly and efficiently. This morning, I went out to give it a test run so to speak. Tried sliding on bare feet--- nope - NO slipping. Tried it with my flip flops on--nope- NO slipping. This product is the real deal and is very effective and safe. Although its a bit on the pricey side as compared to traditional "anti slip" sealant, it is far cheaper than a trip to the emergency room. I had 3 local quotes ranging from $3000 to $7000 to fix my pool deck slipping problem. None of them would guarantee they would fix the problem either. I was apprehensive about using an "out-of-state" company as I assumed they were hiring local crew that was not very experienced in the application, and that they would be unavailable for any support going forward. Well all of my assumptions were completely wrong, in fact, National Sealing far exceeded my expectations on everything! They showed up in less than a week after I booked (all the others were 5 to 6 weeks backlogged), Their application guy was out the of the main office in Florida and travels to certain southern states, including Texas. Mark was very knowledgeable and in fact had helped to develop their specialized coating over years. Their non-slip application coating is really unique and incredible! We just had our 4th of July party last night, first time to have people over, lots of young kids, and not one slip and a lot of positive comments on the "feel" of the non-slip surface from the adults. So thrilled we found National Sealing Company! The travertine decking and surfaces of our new pool and large patio look great - and it's most importantly super easy to clean! Rust, spills, etc. wipe up great! Kenny helped answer all of my questions initially, and we were very quickly added to the schedule. And, the price was very reasonable! We went with Mark's recommendation of "medium grippy" for the application of the nano beads. The surface feels great. Not at all rough to the feet, adds a nice sheen, and no one has slipped since the install! (Whew! The appearance and feel were my biggest concern going in.) I did have a few spots in crevices that pooled up white but was able to use a toothpick to remove it. My pool builder didn't initially recommend sealing tile because of the concern about making the surface slippery. After talking to several neighbors who didn't seal their travertine based on pool builders' recommendations, they all regretted. (In Houston, mildew quickly becomes a problem with the look of travertine - yet, you aren't supposed to pressure wash it either, which is a pickle! So this is a great alternative solution!) My pool installer is now recommending National Sealing to other customers based on our positive experiences. read more

We had our pool deck and lanai of approximately 1,200 square feet of exotic travertine treated back in March 2018. Although we were immediately impressed with the results, I wanted to wait to write the reviews to see how it did once the weather warmed up and we were actually using the pool and deck more. The treatment transformed our deck from a super slippery danger zone surface to a non-slippery, safe, usable space. I was so scared of kids and people slipping on our travertine pooldeck, I would lay beach towels all over where people would walk. If I didn't, there was always a kid who would end up slipping. Before the treatment, I walked so gingerly and cautiously across the travertine because it was so slippery. . After the treatment, I could literally run across the deck (with it wet) and not slip. Excellent company to deal with. My initial call was promptly returned by Kenny who answered all of my questions and scheduled my job timely. My pool deck was a two day process and both days the crews showed up on time and completed their respective tasks. These folks were a pleasure to deal with and I recommend them. My pool deck is crema bella marble and was slick as ice. We loved the look, but the kids would never be able to enjoy the pool deck without injury unless we added a non-skid surface. We explored sealing and sharkskin, but the vendor advised us it would need to be rolled on leaving streaks on our brand new marble, couldn't be rained on before or after (Florida in June tends to be pretty rainy) or it would "fog up" and would need to be reapplied frequently as it wore down. National Sealing's anti slip product has none of these drawbacks. The product helped to bring out the variations in natural stone and it looks amazing. The kids have been running on the wet surface for a couple of weeks now without anyone slipping. The product went down evenly across the entire surface appears to be as durable as advertised. This may not be the cheapest solution, but this is money well spent in my opinion. read more

I have tumbled ivory travertine that was sealed with a water sealant. PB told me it absolutely would not be slippery. First week I wiped out. It was so so slippery when wet. After tons of research, I located National Sealing Company out of Florida. They travel all over the country. They have this special Nano bead technology which puts a grip on the travertine. I was nervous because I didn't know anyone who had done it or had heard of the company but we took the chance. We had it done last Tuesday (not even a week yet) and we are thrilled!!! It feels like a light sandpaper or the bottom of your fiberglass pool. It should last between 3-5 years. It is NOT slippery at all. The color changes to the color your travertine is when wet. Kenny Kline is the person who responds to your questions and he is very knowledgeable and helpful. I asked lots of questions. Mark was the one who came to the house and sprayed the material. He was Amazing!! He explained everything he was doing. It is expensive but well worth it. I even had a question days after it was done and Kenny got right back to me. I should have had National Sealing Co come in from the very start instead of trying to save just a few dollars. Unfortunately I had two go thru two other paver sealing companies and almost 5k before I had Kenny come out and fix the problem of having wet marble pool deck pavers. My wife and I just had a pool put in with 1100 sq ft of tumbled marble white moscow pavers. It was slippery when it got wet and unbelievable slippery after the last two paver sealing companies put there product down. Once Kenny's crew was done putting down there coating with there nano beads my wife and I couldn't believe how non-slippery it was. This was such a huge relief off of our chest as we have a 2 year old and a 6 month old that will be out playing on the pool deck for years to come. Wish we would have gone with National Sealing Company from the beginning. They also stand by there application/product and have a great warranty and will show back up if there is ever the smallest issue or concern! We just had a new pool installed over winter time and we were extremely worried about how slippery the travertine was when wet. Looked around for a couple weeks and luckily this company popped into my wife's social media feed. We were very sceptical until we spoke to Kenny. I can personally say from being in sales this company knows how to treat their customers. From beginning to end my wife and I have been treated extremely well and have been well informed on the product. We got the nonslip installed last week and absolutely love it so far. We have two 80lb black labs and when the installation pro recognized this he even put an extra thick layer on the edges all the way around for the pups protection. I live in California and have over 4000 ft.² of travertine pavers around my pool, patio area and Entry. When wet the Travertine pavers become extremely slippery. One of my grandchildren took a dangerous fall. And thus, I was on the hunt for A anti-skid product. Problem was nothing actually worked that well.
