Zero star review. Took my suv in as it was having difficulty down shifting. Shop diagnosed it not…read moreto be transmission-related but cylinder misfires. Accepted their offer to do the non-transmission related repairs (change spark plugs) at a cost of $700. Problem was not solved and engine continued to misfire. I brought it back in to give them a chance to "make it right". They did not apparently QC the original work, did other work, and that cost me another $800 that was only peripherally related to the original diagnosis. I am now out $1500 and the engine continued to misfire, after which I brought it into my regular mechanic. They qc'ed the original work and found two broken and two loose spark plugs, confirming that the original work was defective in terms of parts and installation. I provided an opportunity for the owner at Mister Transmission Kris Carlson on many occasions to make it right - that is my biggest issue in that he accepted zero responsibility or accountability for any of the faulty work done in his shop. He did not respond to my BBB complaint, would not respond to my several phone calls or subsequent emails. Complete lack of business integrity. AMVIC process appears equally ineffective. Every shop tech or mechanic can have a bad day. The zerostar review is based solely on the subsequent avoidance of the owner to take accountability for defective parts and service, AND the subsequent additional service and parts that did nothing to fix the original problem and was not needed. Please be wary of this business if dealing with them.

Brought my transmission to them to get rear main seal and clutch changed and to check over the insides. They said everything inside was good and put those parts in. After getting it 3rd and 4th gear grinds. Took to a better mechanic and he opened it, dominion did not assemble it back together correct at all. Dominion charged $2k. Had to get car towed to this better mechanic then paid him $2300 to do the job right with full transmission rebuild, brand new synchros bearings, seals.... Dominion refused the car back after there problems, were very rude about all of it talking to them and horrible overall experience. Never use them, not worth the risk.

After the mechanic had put the transmission in there was something wrong. I had to pay to get the vehicle towed to their shop but they on their own dime replaced what they told me was a faulty torque converter. Fast forward 16 months and about 10,000 km, my newly rebuilt transmission slipped badly and poured tranny fluid all over the road. No worries I thought because on their website they clearly stated that they have a 2 year warranty on rebuilt transmissions. I called them and was informed they only have a 1 year warranty so I'm out of luck. Not happy with being falsely advertised to. Also not happy with 2 torque faulty torque converters in less than 2 years. Make sure you look into this shop and their fake warranties. I've logded a complaint with the ATRA so hopefully they will ensure that further customers won't be misled. I have also noticed that since my conversation with the shop, they have changed their website now stating that additional warranties may be purchased.

Absolutely flawless. I could have practically shown them off at a tire pageant. But no, apparently perfection isn't enough for Heritage Autopro. Then came the "alignment issue." According to them, my alignment is off. But honestly? I kind of like the way it pulls me back to reality every time I drive. That subtle tug reminds me I'm still alive, still moving forward, still... existing. Apparently, that's a problem here. And the absolute kicker: they told me my car smells like cat pee. Now, I get it... it's not exactly the freshest aroma in the world right now. But let me explain. One of my cats, my sweet little rescue, passed away in the car, and I've been too depressed to get it cleaned properly. So yes, there's a story behind it... a real one. Instead of compassion, I got judgment and unsolicited declarations about the state of my vehicle. Ever since new management took over, the service has been worse than ever: aggressive, misinformed, and frankly, a little cruel. If you like being lectured, scammed on perfectly fine tires, and shamed for having emotions about your cats... then Heritage Autopro is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear, and maybe bring a box of tissues, you'll need them.
