The staff and instructors actually care about their students so if you feel lost they are always there to help you out. The Engineering Technician course took about 4 months to complete. It really is an accelerated type of course that teaches you the basic fundamentals of being an engineering technician taking you through so many lessons such as mechanics, electrical, automation, pneumatics, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, just to name a few. They really take you through so many subjects and it is up to you to figure out which subject you want to focus on. When you find out you let your staff and instructors know... they will lead you in the right direction I guarantee it. With this certification you can literally go to any industry and any related position to the course. It really is up to you whether you want to be an engineering technician developing medical devices or an electro-mechanical technician ensuring a production line is running... the possibilities are endless! Anyways, the Engineering Technician program is meant to give you a hell of a jumpstart in your career and I really am thankful for who I have met and worked with along the way whether they be students, staff, or instructors. I still take classes here and there ever since 2019 because that is just how good this trade school is. TCI FOREVER

The college provides hands on training and job placement which is excellent for people looking for opportunities when they come up by being prepared for the job market. This fun yet rigorous learning environment gives the students knowledge for everyday use. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this option for people seeking to enter the engineering workforce or for someone looking to learn something new.

What a beautiful campus!…read more I never imagined this campus to look like this. Nestled in San Diego county. I don't know about their class offerings but the acceptance rate is 95% which doesn't make it a very prestigious college but perhaps it's a push for expansion.

There are some older and good professors, but most of the newer professors are all UC rejects who seek a tenured position at this school and care very little about students once they tenured. The chair of the department, Jancovich is a lost cause. Now, I am starting to understand why the department of education is being dismantled. You get people who sits on their butt with 6 figured salaries and not actually helping students. The chair used to be Dr Escobar and he was ok. But now it's Jancovich and he will find ways to push students away. His emails will always say " there's nothing he can do" I mean that should be his life quote of sort. Pretty useless. If you're planning to major in biol, go to UCSD. Even if it means staying at the comm college a bit longer. Or a different school, don't come here it's a complete joke. This is coming from me, a current student who had to deal with it and eventually changed my major to biochemistry. The two more organized departments are the chemistry and computer science departments. The chemistry depart is organized, and the computer science department is very solid. Though not everyone want to major in it because of the amount of math that students have to take. Other than that, nobody cares especially if you're a biology major. I changed my major to biochemistry because of how unsupportive and disorganized the biology department is.

Tuition is INSANE for what you are getting. Students complain about the services, or lack of services, and honestly the money isn't going anywhere apparent. The departments that help students were drastically cut during my time working here, and in my department alone, more than 8 (out of about 12) people either were fired or layed off or quit due to stress in the course of a year. Meanwhile the CEO is making business class flights to washington dc and meeting with congressmen, directors are having fancy lunches as business expenses, and they do all they can to try and suck more innocent students into there very pretty trap. On our orientation and open house days, we were instructed to show off they schools assets, even though students would likely never use or have the opportunità to use the technology available. I truly hope this BUSINESS (not a school) CRASHES AND BURNS. B Corp my **** Yeah right. The people who run this place are cooperate junkies, FRAUD teachers who repost research under the guise of new titles (true true true), and a bunch of cheap sell outs. DO NOT GO HERE :---)

I…read moredon't know how Army and Navy Academy (ANA) does it, but within two months they transformed him from a teenager influenced by "red pill" voices insisting school was pointless--and that stealing, dealing, and hustling were the keys to success--into a respectful, motivated, disciplined young man who communicates openly and reaches out for support when he needs it. Before ANA, we spent 18 months trying everything: DBT therapy, family systems therapy, private boys coaching, and multiple specialized retreats for struggling teens. None of it helped. In fact, many interventions pushed him even farther away from his best self. ANA, on the other hand, grounded him almost immediately. Now he's on the Dean's List, was voted Best Artist, and loves attending ANA. The other day, I nearly cried when I heard him tell his grandmother, "It's a privilege to attend ANA." His commanding officer captured the essence of the school after a minor infraction: "We are not a reform school. We are not a therapeutic boarding school. We are an elite preparatory academy developing the future leaders of the world. You decide if you belong here." And somehow, through the teachers, counselors, structure, activities, and community, my son decided for himself that he does belong there. ANA gave my son his future back. We are grateful beyond words.

Right across the street is the beautiful lagoon and the most gorgeous hiking trails surround it too! It's great for people who live along the coast and don't wanna drive up to Oceanside all the time and the library is new and well equipped! Well, they don't offer as many in-person classes as Oceanside campus, the classrooms are newer, and the class size is a bit smaller, which means you get more attention from the professors. Parking is always a breeze, staff are wonderfully helpful, and I am rooting for this site to gain more popularity and more students! While my time here is pretty much up... I'm glad I was able to attend this campus along with the Oceanside one.
