I certainly improved my fishing skills and all of us caught fish, including some Kings Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Snook, and a Mangrove Snapper. There was one King dump one of our reels just before cutting off on a crab trap. And lost another that went about 30lb when it skyed onto one of baits and catching our mainline with his teeth upon entry. They gave us lots of ideas for things to do in the area also. Super great crew! If you slow down catching fish they will move to a different area to make the most of the fishing! The capt doesn't have any control over this. What he does control is communication to us as to his plans based on the weather the night before. He asked me to text instead of calling so as not to distract him operating the boat. I did as he asked numerous times, with no response. Thus we weren't able to make other plans on the days that he couldn't go out. I'm sure he is a great fishing guide, but he is a poor businessman and communicator.
