This time we were looking for grouper, and Billy took us to several different spots where they were biting. We caught our limit on the large Gag grouper and have 10-plus lbs of delicious fish. They gave us lots of ideas for things to do in the area also. Super great crew! If you slow down catching fish they will move to a different area to make the most of the fishing! In addition to the snook the other primary request was to catch some great table fare. Here again, Captain Dustin did his part and we had plentiful fish for the table, a nice mix that day of Speckled Sea Trout and Spanish Mackerel. But instead, they handed me the keys to a 25' Bennington Luxury Tri-toon that looked like it had been kissed by Poseidon himself. I spent the day out at Caladesi Island feeling like royalty, and that boat didn't just float--it flexed. Smooth, spacious, luxurious, and powered by enough horsepower to make your troubles disappear over the horizon. He knows where to go, keeps your line in the water 99% of the time and is just plain full of interesting fish facts as he's been fishing the area all his life.
