I thought they were adorable the way the head sticks out, they are beautiful. The reason for my low rated 2 star review is because i was short changed this last visit. I had the make cashier, it was my first time seeing him there, it's usually a female. He was friendly and nice that i will be honest about. The turtles are 2.50 each, for 2 it should have been about 6 dollars. I paid with a 20, received only 5 dollars back in 1 dollar bills. I trusted him, didn't count my change because I have never had issues. It was wrapped with the receipt, put it in my wallet and went on my way. The reason I noticed is because i was gonna use the change to tip the waiter at the restaurant. That's how i noticed i did t receive the correct change. I hate to write this but i am absolutely positive i was given the wrong change. Could it have been an accident? Possibly but it didn't sit well with me. As cute as the store is, we will not be back.

The holiday selection at HomeGoods is far superior to almost anything around. It's a mix of Big Lots, Rite Aid, Michaels, and Macy's. The variety is impressive. My only issue is with such a small store, the holiday's usually take over a good 1/3 or even 1/2 the store making regular everyday things a little harder to find. What I do love is the name brands they carry. Last Christmas, the had some Lenox dishes. And while they are less expensive, a full set can still run a hundred or so dollars, but it's better than the 3-4 hundred at Macy's. The store still feels a big junky and disjointed. Not as bad as Goodwill, but sections can feel close. You also have to look carefully at what you're buying. We were looking for a laundry basket, and it took a while to find one that wasn't damaged. And not everything is cheaper. We found a better and less expensive garbage can at Costco, so do you price comparisons. The people that work there are nice enough. I haven't had to ask anyone of the floor for help, the checkers do take the time to wrap what you're buying if you ask them. And on a plus side, they actually have restrooms! This is good since the mall no longer exists.

Since we have two members within our household, that's two bottles a month! I decided to host my own wine tasting at home with those wine and Home Goods in city of Orange definitely made my life much easier by carrying all kinds of beautiful drink ware and home decor for me to entertain my guests. The prices at Home Goods are always great to begin with, and since tax is lower in Orange County than in LA County, I save even MORE money when I shop here. The cashiers here were very efficient and the lady helping me took her time wrapping all my ceramic plates and wine glasses. They also have REALLY cute reusable bags there, which is a HUGE plus for me because I collect all their bags! I can't wait to come back here the next time I am in the area.

However, when…read moremy contractor went to get the tile and grout that we ordered, they gave them the wrong grout color. I was so upset. My contractor's people already laid down the grout and Floor and Decor wouldn't pay for the labor to redo the grout. Instead they gave us a seal with the correct color to try to make it right. However when my contractor's people put it down, it just didn't have the same effect as grout. Because we couldn't afford the labor for them to redo the grout, we just have to live with the discoloration of the grout. On top of that, the tile that we chose had odd pieces to them that looked stained. You really don't know what things would look like until you purchase it. And of course I wasn't home to supervise their work, because I had a job to go to pay for all the work that didn't turn out the way I expected. Needless to say, I suggest you go to Lowe's or Home Depot for tiles because they actually are a little bit more affordable. Floor and Decor as actually expensive.

You do have to sign a piece of paper though. They still haven't restocked the Radlers that are still on sale, but a lot of Xmas stuff is out on the floor now. They have like the comfiest chairs ever, and it's never really crowded in here, which is great. I do like their Korean food section, and wish they had more. I've looked at their clearance, but it seems like a lot of it isn't really worth looking through. Overall, they have a lot of different cute things around the store, so it's fun looking at their collection of items. I do hope that they can carry more products in the future.

I think it comes down to how I feel when I think of going there, specifically the one in Brea. This isn't a grocery store - why do we have to pay for bags? I'm buying bottles of wine & dishes, picture frames - if I buy dishes and home decor at Macy's, I'm not required to buy a bag. It was always part of my Christmas tradition to make Cost Plus my first stop for gifts - but a couple of Christmases ago, I bought a whole cart full of wine & food gifts. I was not allowed to take the cart to my car, I had to leave the cart in the store and trust that the employee helping me wouldn't be pulled away by time I brought my car around. And it was raining by the way. Once upon a time, the store would reward members with a $10.00 birthday gift. That got changed to a discount. So every once in a while I get a text message telling me about a promotion and I used to enjoy getting those messages. Now I just delete them.

They have a ton of inventory with a good variety of merchandise, the staff is friendly, the store is neatly kept, and everything is organized within the aisles. Given inflation has impacted anything and everything that we purchase, I will say that the price points for all items are slightly higher than what we're probably used to in the past 4 to 5 years.
