PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE: My husband and I purchased a fountain last year. It was delivered in May 2024, it was our first fountain, and we followed the advice that was provided to us by paradise. We cut out space and added the exact gravel that was recommended to us, we also connected our soft water tank directly to the fountain as recommended by paradise fountains to avoid any calcium build up. Two months later our fountain looked horrible despite following the advice that was provided to us. We called Paradise and the son told us that his mother (Lisa) would be calling us back. Months went by and finally the owner Lisa called me from a blocked number, she seemed interested in helping us resolve this problem. Lisa told us that she has decades of experience and that she had painted/stained hundreds of fountains but first she wanted us to try pouring vinegar inside the fountain, if this didn't work, she also had us purchase a stone sealer and apply the sealer to the inside of the fountain. Unfortunately, this made the fountain look worse! We sent many pictures to paradise hoping to get help and each time we were made to wait months for a response. Lisa finally called us back a second time and told us that we could pick up the stains and fix the fountain ourselves. My husband picked up the stains, but we have no idea what we are doing, and we are now forced to find a contractor to help us. We reached out to Lisa yesterday one last time to let her know that we had requested help from other fountain distributors and two companies told us that Paradise had sold us an unfinished product and that Paradise had failed to seal our fountain causing the fountain to form calcium. The respond from Lisa was so unprofessional and dismissive that we have decided to write this review in the hope that it will help others when deciding where to purchase a water fountain. I have attached a picture of our water fountain, a short video, the stains that were provided to us by paradise (as if we know how to use these stains). We weren't sure what finish to put on the fountain we ordered, so they loaned some samples parts with different colors to us to bring home and compare to our pavers. Good advice how to set it up too.
