New Market is a literal market and the owners allow many women and minority owned businesses to sell their products. The owners also have an event space around the corner where they host parties. The location couldn't get any better. It's downtown Metuchen. Street parking for 50 cents and there is a parking garage conveniently located around the corner. They do craft nights and I'd definitely recommend stopping in to shop and support the small businesses.

Much like its counterpart in Menlo Park Mall, this location has a bright store front with a Dream Catcher hanging in one window. I grew up going to stores like this in my teen years in NYC's West Village so it is a bit of a nostalgia trip to visit this place. On my most recent visit I picked up some incense. They have "shorties" which are small versions of their usual incense, about half the size (maybe a bit smaller). They are nice and cheap, costing 20 for $3 (if I recall correctly). They have small bags you can write on so you can keep track of which scent is in which bag. The cashier was very nice. I accidentally knocked a bag off its peg and she was very kind about putting it back. This is one of my "must visit" stops in the mall and I'm very happy to see them still open in Woodbridge!
