***Overall 3.75***…read more As far as malls go, this mall in Salinas is up my alley because it's not too big (like the one in Santa Clara!), not too small or empty (like the one in Capitola and many seaside ones), and not super riddled with high end stores where I end up window-shopping and don't actually buy anything. Northridge Mall has the stores I like and also has eateries too. There is plenty of parking, cute holiday decor, and a HUUUGE entertainment area (arcade, bowling), including the largest room with claw machines I had ever seen in my life! This is sadly the era of "shopping mall deaths" with everyone veering towards online shopping, so I am glad to see Northridge Mall populated with stores and doing well. I hope it sticks around.

The post office used to be located inside the dtug store, making it so convenient. Having a Starbucks here wss so convenient too. And msny grest restaurants. Great Mexican food served up here. I will not be returning to the store. They don't allow children and have literally kicked me out of…read morethe store two different times right when we entered the store. The first time they told me children weren't allowed and then, most recently, they told my mother-in-law that they were going on lunch at 3 PM, and the kids had to leave, but then they never closed the store. This unwelcoming attitude doesn't build a strong buy local community. This is discrimination and it should not be tolerated in our downtown Salinas community. It is really disheartening that this kind of behavior is occurring.
