Some of the goods here include skeletons, bones, antlers, horns, teeth, claws and talons, rocks and minerals, fossils, shells, preserved animals, petrified wood, coats, pelts and skins, artifacts, jewelry, and a few other knickknacks here and there. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about what they do. The store is laid out beautifully with such attention to detail about how each and every item is placed. I finally made it into this store to take a peek around and im so thrilled that i did! Every time im traveling i love to find fun special stores like this and im so happy to know we have one in salt lake city. It's kind of in a random location in midvale. Sort of looks like a tiny older stip mall but inside is full of the most amazing natural oddities and treasures. I made my husband stop here one day and he was going to wait in the car but i told him it might be something he would find interesting and he loved it as much as i did. Do you need a taxidermy duckling, a sheep in a jar, a dried bat? It kind of sounds like a shopping list for a coven of witches. But those are just some of the more curious wares for sale here. There are some beautiful butterflies and a huge array of other dried bugs sold single or grouped, framed or not. (The owner of the shop will frame anything you're interest in. For me thats a bat.) There are also troves of beautiful stones, crystals, and fossils. A plethora of antlers and skulls are also there. Okay what im leaving out?.... Oh you need a bowtie made from frog skin? Check. They also having matching frog purses for that special lady in your life. Im not going to lie i kind of want one but im pretty sure i have nothing to go with it. There is also all size of bell jars and cloches for you to display your specimens in. Truly a great store especially for anyone with an affinity towards natural history. read more

What a great find for adults and kids alike. I'm a photographer looking for insect specimens to photograph, and found Natur on Yelp. My two kids and I went in and had a lovely time exploring all of the different species. I ended up buying three beautiful insects, which I am going back to pick up today. We have even brought in a Beautiful Bumble bee (already dead) that my son found and wanted preserved, they positioned and set it in a lovely setting of our choice.
