There are two covered blocks of vendors after which we found ourselves in Mercado Ignacio Ramírez, a more open space featuring fresh produce, flower stalls, and fast local food stalls. The menu had great potential but the food was just not up to par, I ordered the chili rellenos and by the time I received my food the cheese was coagulated and cold but the flavors were spot on. My dining partners ordered a salad and a veggie burger, the veggie burger was not cooked all the way and the salad was a bit warm and soggy.
