Went last night to dinner at Via Orgánica, was amazed to see that they were also a market with fresh organic Vegetables and fruits inside the restaurant , their beads also looked amazing. True farm to table,We had dinner last night, sat on the roof top to dine. The food was exceptional and very tasty! I had a thanksgiving dinner Turkey, Stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes and sweet potato's and a splash of cranberry sauce. Other people at our table had ribeye steak and sea bass. Everything was organic and fresh. We later enjoyed desserts, a incredible cheesecake with chocolate bottom, chocolate cake and assorted pies, atmosphere was so Pleasant, staff was excellent!

So good. One of the best organic restaurants ever. Everything I've had here is great. Also has a market. And the people who work there as waiters are so nice!

We are staying around the corner and were told this is the place to be! Great food, nice waiters and cute establishment!

View from half way through the bike ride.

This review is for our visit to the Via Organica farm and the wonderful brunch we had there on October 12, 2019. They provided transportation from SMA to the farm (about 20 minutes away). Started with a 6K bike ride around the farm with a stops along the way to enjoy the views and animals (sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits). Got a tour of the production areas then a delicious meal all from their farm or other local sources.

Such a great store and cafe! There's fresh produce, organic/gluten free/locally made etc packaged products, a juice bar, and restaurant/cafe (breakfast seating in the back). Friendly staff and delicious smells from the kitchen. Their menu looks so enticing and will definitely be posting more pics of food soon. Thank God it's near the place we're renting Haha! I feel like I could spend my whole day here.

If a tourist center like San Miguel de Allende gathers its prototypical souvenir purveyors in one…read morespot, this would be the way to do it. The downside is that so many of the shops feel quite redundant that it's easy to bypass businesses when you know you'll see another shop selling basically the same things... magnets, masks, coasters, ashtrays, Virgin Mary plaques, you name it (Photo 8). There are two covered blocks of vendors after which we found ourselves in Mercado Ignacio Ramírez, a more open space featuring fresh produce, flower stalls, and fast local food stalls. It would've been more tempting to us if we didn't already have lunch at Jacques nearby (review: https://yelp.to/1eEKC6YG8X). Our walkthrough of the market was more of an Instagram op, which was just fine. RELATED - Exploring San Miguel de Allende? It's kind of a must-see when in SMdA, and definitely worth the visit. It's huge, spanning a couple…read moreof blocks, but tbh, so much of the arts and crafts are really similar. It's a great place to shop for souvenirs and the people working the stalls are super friendly. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby and some require a wait, so the Mercado is a great place to walk around before your meal. Highly recommended for local color.
