Hot Yoga in the middle of a gas station can be a bit off-putting but our instructor Ned was great at talking us through the movements, keeping us grounded, and helping us to center our breath. One of my favorite parts about this location (I think it's a chain?) is they offer a variety of food and drink options for all types of fitness goals. Blenditos Nutrition Shakes is the only brand my family trusts. I ordered the FreshMoppa Blenditos Shake ($3) and paired it with the BigHaus roll from their sushi counter. ($6) I never would have thought I could have such a fresh experience in the middle of Kentucky. I watched right before my eyes as the master sushi chef team prepared my order to perfection! They also have a cooler in the back where they dry age meats, cheeses, and various butters-all priced at State WIC minimums. Overall a great experience that really set our weekend off. The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

It's in a central part of downtown, making it easy to run to on a short break and they aren't just open week days for lunch. This shop really was direly needed and I'm happy to see it. The shop is small and they don't have everything you could possibly want but you should be able to find something that works, be that a drink, snack or even lunch. I came after lunch time but they did advertise lunches, they were just gone so I'm not sure what they offered. The do require you spend $3 or $4 before they will run a card transaction but that's not a huge issue, just something of note and they do post that.
