Dr Freund and his massage therapist Linda saved me! I was in extreme pain from an aggravated back issue and could not stand upright without pain. Dr Freund used adjustments on my back in conjunction with Linda doing some work on my front side for adhesions from scar tissue. This combination worked after 3 visits. So the doctors and massage therapists here are actually great. However, the people in charge of paperwork are completely incompetent. I was told they took my insurance but find out later they dont and havent in 15 or so years. So after 5 visits that I had been paying my copays in the office for I get a bill with no insurance coverage. How had I been there 5 times paying a copay and nobody thought to mention they didnt take my insurance? And why did it take nearly 2 months for me to be informed of this. Billing did work out a deal that instead of paying over $500 I will be paying almost $300. Wow what a great deal. So they basically screwed me. I will never be back. It's a shame because they actually helped me a lot. But its definitely not worth the hassle and being totally screwed over. read more

I've gone to Dr. Mark on and off for about 15 years now and he's good at what he does, and I've been happy with his treatment overall. His massage therapists are great, especially Laurie. Dr. Nicole Gopaul is a great fill in for Dr. Mark, but not there as often as I'd like. The folks in charge of their billing are not as good as they were a few years ago. I work in medical insurance and the person in charge of billing have been double billing my insurance. They also sent me a bill for two visits that my insurance didn't pay for because billing was suppose to seek prior authorization for those visits. My EOBs clearly state I'm not responsible, so I'm not paying. I've been trying to get reimbursed for a visit from 6 months that I shouldn't have been charged a copayment. The billing mistakes have put me off, and I don't think I'll be back. But, he has such a devoted following, I doubt I'll be missed If you go, check your insurance before you go and keep an eye on your EOBs and bills or you could be overcharged too. read more

Dr. Mark is INCREDIBLE! He's worked with my son now for about a year and a half. My son initially was walking on the inside of his feet and along with inserts, Dr. Mark's expertise and gentle adjustments REALLY helped! He's been helping him recently with a sprained ankle as well. Dr. Mark and his staff are phenomenal. I have been to at least 6 chiropractic docs in Lake County, and this one is my favorite! He and his team are courteous, considerate, and treat you like a neighbor/family no matter how long its been since they have seen you. Whether I had insurance or self pay, they were fair with pricing and payment options. Dr. Mark worked with me for two months to resolve the source of my chronic migraines that I had been battling for a couple of years, and had caused me to use medications I was not comfortable with. I was masking pain, feeling side effects, and needed to get off the drugs to begin our family. Dr. Mark was the only doctor who could help me! He helped me get my life back, to get out from under a horrible chronic condition that was crippling me. His massage therapist that worked with me was amazing.
