They did not do the work that I told them to. They are a poor example of quality work. They have a poor business ethic. Lisa Barbaro from grand plans was the first designer to respond to my request for information. We agreed in advance to a price for the design plan should I proceed work with her design. This was very fair. As a consultant myself, I actually suggested she charge a bit more for her service. I was impressed that she offered to visit my property so she could see firsthand the light, the soil, etc..Lisa was on time and prepared with a survey of my lot. She did not charge for this consultation, which I found to be a good first step. She spent a sufficient amount of time at my home, asking questions and gaining insight about me and my ideas and preferences. We agreed that she would provide me with a written plan for concept, a digital 2D plan and revision(s), plant lists, and care guidelines for phase one of my multi phase project. NEXT STEP- waiting for the schematic plan. Depending upon the anticipated cost vs my budget, I may proceed to implementing the project using Grand Plans or as a DYI. I'll review again once I have the plan

Tom and his guys came in and replaced it all. They gently transferred all of my koi - some as old as the pond - to holding tanks, drained it and then cleaned it all before reversing the process. My pond was crystal clear for the entire season. I cannot recommend this company enough!

If a worker is not there within a few mins feel free to call since the sign on the table instructs to do so...30 seconds later a man with a mask opened the door and asked how he could help me, I was there to pick up a few boxes of Aquascape dosing products and a backup mini pump for the doser since it hadn't been run all winter and figured why take the chance of not buying one now, just to go home and find the old one not working. Upon letting him know what I wanted to the time he returned two minutes later with everything I needed including some really nice product brochures and pond care info all neatly packed in a custom GSK tote...I slid my card in the very safe handheld chip reader, my receipt came out instantly and we chatted for a few and I was on my way. No longer than 10 minutes from when I entered the lot. Btw, if you're a registered member and usually have to be looked up by last name or member code....no worries since he automatically gives the VIP discount that saved me over $10.
