Although I have a…read moremembership at GNC and occasionally shop at Popeye's when they have a sale, I wouldn't call myself loyal to either of them as supplement prices fluctuate depending on promotions. I've been only to Fuel twice at this location as it is on my way to my home-work commute and I have to say their service is excellent! I am really impressed at how well kept their store is. There is just something awesome with a storm displaying fully stacked racks unlike Popeye's which is sometimes empty and if not, messy. Even though this store is small it is very tidy and neat as if an OCD person works here..I love it! The sales guy - unfortunately I didn't get his name - but for the twice I've been here he's always been very helpful and informative! I understand they have to move some products but in no way he was very pushy. He even let me try out a bunch of samples. The best part about this place is that anyone automatically gets 10% off! Only thing is that you may need to pay for parking but other than that, nothing to make this store short of a perfect star rating! Keep it up!

I still remember the original store, Galloway's decades ago on Robson Street. Now renamed Goodway's…read more(due to new owner), it is still the same decades later with quality products and great customer service. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the array of spices sold here. You'll find an ample variety of nuts, grains, flours, & imported items. If you are needing a specific spice or ingredient to make that special dish, this is the place to go. This place has ingredients for all types of cooks including gluten-free, vegans, vegetarians, etc. The staff is helpful and friendly. They have different store hours (see attached photo). They are located on Sixth street in New Westminster (just across the street from Royal City Centre Shopping). There's parking on the street or just as easy, park in the Royal City Shopping Centre for free. Exit at the doors near the food court and Goodway's is across the street.

The woman working there, the most senior of staff, seems to be very unaware of any modern advancement in the field, recent studies pertaining to health and nutrition, and unable to adequately operate the technology in the store. As if thinking that the debit machine was like the old Addressograph manual credit card machines she decided to forcefully ram my card into the terminal, wipe it on her clothes, and repeat 4 times. After which my card said to contact the branch. Knowing that this meant the bank would infer that my card was stolen and block it from someone trying to use it I took it back, to which she said: "oh well, is there another way you can pay? I've been in retail for 30 years and never seen that". Her condescension was so insulting that I called the bank and used the app to show her it was her fault, to which she replied: " you've got some strange settings on your card then". I'll never go back to the store, and I would advise everyone to visit the Metrotown Location instead. The Burnaby location is always better stocked and the people are always happy and helpful. This woman is a nightmare, so steer clear.

Don't shop here!!! They don't except there own coupons…read more I was emailed a coupon that said buy one get one 50% off from October 19th-November 15th. I went there on November 8th and was told that the offer was over, so I showed the email to the lady who works there and she said " how do you know that doesn't mean that the offer is only good on October 19th or November 15th?" Are you serious? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. When I asked her if I could speak with the manager she said that the manager was unavailable and there was nothing she could do. I will never shop there again!
