When in town on other business, I walked over here to grab a drink and a bite to eat. I'm glad that I did. My iced coffee and sandwich were both well-prepared. I even bought some organic cinnamon in order to support a local shop that cared enough to offer it for sale. If I'm in the area again, I'll make a point of stopping here again. (A prior reviewer makes a good point about not taking medical advice from a clerk whose trying to sell supplements.) read more

I love the coffee drinks here and pretty sizable selection of sugar free syrups to add in. The employees are always incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about where and what products they have. The banana nut smoothie bowl I had without granola was absolutely fantastically delicious with thick texture and tons of rich banana flavor under a chocolate drizzle. They have a large selection of balsamic vinegars and olive oils you can sample in addition to eclectic health related foods and snacks from cassava chips to kombucha. They also have a variety of supplements. The only thing I dislike about this place is that just today in a span of fifteen minutes I heard a male employee who is definitely not a healthcare professional give very poor medical advice to different customers. I overheard him consulting with several ladies and telling them some sort of cranberry supplement "isn't an antibiotic but it will definitely cure a UTI". Cranberry may help prevent UTI according to evidence thus far through medical studies available on PubMed, but cranberry absolutely does not cure urinary tract infections and it is terrible to misinform people especially if you're selling them products you're lying to them about. As a physician I was also horrified that he told an elderly woman who came in with a large wrist ganglion cyst that she should rub frankincense on it to "dry it out". Are you serious?!? Essential oils to help a subcutaneous ganglion cyst?!? Really bad. Go here for the food and drinks and nice employees but do not take medical advice from anyone here/anyone who is not a medical professional! read more

My sister lives near and always talks about this store. Always saying how much I would love it. To be honest, I didn't think it would live upto the hype she was giving it originally. She finally brought me. Yep, I was wrong! The Natural Food Store exceeded my expectations. They've a huge variety of vitamins and supplements . Their items are all high quality brands. Some brands they had in stock are normally not seen sold in stores, but only online. Yes, I am a vitamin and supplements nerd. Seeing all of these brands and supplements all in one store is pretty impressive. Needless to say I was in heaven. Ending up finding an iron supplement that has helped me tremendously with my iron deficiency. They also have a grocery section as well. The prices are super reasonable. If you're on a specific diet or have food allergies, then this place would be a great place to visit. They've a sugar free pop made with agave that has probiotics in it too! Seriously, how awesome is that? I've never seen that where I live. If I lived in the area, then I would probably shop here twice a week. Such a great store that is reasonably priced with high quality items. They also host wellness workshops too! Great store that you gotta visit! read more

Surprisingly amazing espresso (from Rise & Grind, the coffee shop inside), and the staff is SO friendly. They have an *insane* selection of olive oils and vinegars that would impress even a connoisseur, and everything is reasonably priced for a health store. Most everything in the store seems to be made with care, which is a rare find nowadays. Whether you're stopping through Searcy or you live here, stop in to NFS for a shot of espresso and a bottle of white truffle oil. read more

Great selection and plenty of help to find what I needed. Asked for some allergy related supplements, and the staff took plenty of time to help me. They were very knowledgeable of various options. The new location looks great, it's fun to browse around. Enjoyed the tea selection there, and got my bulletproof coffee oil - actually for a little less than what it cost on Amazon. They also have a masseuse at the same location and an olive oil section. All in all, love that this store is in Searcy! read more

Love the NFS! I am always greeted by the employees, and they are all so helpful with whatever knowledge/assistance I am seeking. I can trust their information and opinion, as they take the time to fully understand your needs and can research or give information for what might be the best plan for you. If they can't help you, they will find someone who can! Since shopping at the NFS and learning from all of the employees, I am healthier and just feel better in general. They also recently opened a coffee shop within their store called Rise and Grind. Fresh coffee made to your liking for pick-up, or HAND-delivered to your home or work. I called for a delivery to work, and it was delivered within 10 minutes. I highly recommend Rise and Grind and the NFS to anyone looking for natural alternatives, fresh coffee, or just an inviting place to visit and learn about all of the things that they have to offer! read more

An excellent store that is much needed for this area. They have lots of hard to find organic/natural foods and a limited amount of local produce. They have an impressive array of bulk spices, maybe the best I've seen in Arkansas. Their grain section isn't the strongest, but they do have esoteric stuff like Teff flour and spelt which is already a far better selection than most any larger grocery store in the Searcy area. But, their layout is strange and a bit haphazard- the food section is sandwiched between the essential oils/natural health and beauty products and the organic/holistic healing and pharmaceutical section. I also got some judgemental looks for my earrings which I thought was silly. Despite these minor detractions, shopping here sure beats driving all the way to Little Rock to shop at the corporate behemoth of Whole Foods. If you want to support a local business with a good ethos I suggest you shop here. read more
