I like the different variety of foods sold here as it's more diverse than your average grocery store. I usually only stop by here if it's convenient or I am looking for something very specific. I will say the vegetables do feel overpriced. If I could afford it I would probably do most of my shopping here. read more

Stopped in to grab some groceries for a weekend trip to Red Rocks. Great store! Loved the selection of "good for you" food.

Wonderful people and location, however they feel they fail to compensate for running out of their best items quite frequently (or competing for popular items that are hard to fine which would differentiate this store) - Gerolsteiner water (only Whole Foods sells it or the store if you can find it in stock) Ripple milk and ripple yogurt- compare it to Forager cashew yogurt (you will never go back). It's wonderful and very hard to find at all especially in Vanilla or their multiple flavors (even Whole Foods doesn't stack the ripple yogurt and down the hill may not sell anything other than their original flavor). Hope this catches on soon. Natural grocers can special order a case for you but that is a lot at one time and can take up to two weeks to pick up in store. Another popular item this store runs out of of is organic ramen noodles in chicken flavor (they have every other flavor in abundance which apparently nobody else buys) hint hint. Lastly, can we please stock Barbara's cheese crunchies in Original since even Whole foods runs out of this option ( people who prefer puff or cheddar or jalapeño are in luck at with store)? I realize this is a small store but some items obviously sell better than others and reducing the inventory on what does not sell and increasing inventory on what does sell quickly seems obvious as a way to compete. Especially now that King Soopers offers pick up grocery (but none of the above items) and as much as I love going to multiple grocery stores that run of of popular items (the very reason I am going to that store) I will have to go down the hill to a bigger store which is an option for a Genesee resident but take compassion on your Evergreen residents who WANT to give you their business if only you could only keep up with what your customers actually buy. read more

My all-time favorite grocery store. I can find everything I need here and the prices are usually more competitive than Whole Foods, Trader Joe or Sprouts, especially on sale items. Good selection of organic fruits and vegetables, personal care items and dry/bulk goods. Pleasant surroundings and helpful staff. I like the rewards program though days you can collect your bonus rewards is too restrictive. read more

I have recently started shopping here in lieu of a more diverse selection of healthier foods. I've found that the store is clean and employs people that seem to know more about food/supplements than most other chain grocery stores. This is a small-medium sized store and is limited, yet still have a fairly impressive selection of produce (especially for the size) and staple food items. Another section that is well rounded is their health and beauty section. This includes their supplements, bath salts, aloe juice, theracanes (highly recommend for back pain!), and other natural remedies. Not much good if you don't know what you're looking for, yet I've had very good experiences with knowledge employees. In fact, we credit one person with doing what 2 doctors couldn't for a skin condition. (She recommended probiotics! Sounds strange, but after months of no improvement, the probiotics seemed to start working age a few days!) Who knows? Another thing I like is their discount produce rack, sometimes get just what we need at a great price. Overall, would recommend this local gem. read more

I have loved Natural Grocers for years. I moved to Evergreen a year ago and was pleased with this store and their products. I've shopped at the Conifer store a few times, but prefer the selection at the Evergreen location. I love it so much, that I just took a part time job there. I LOVE this Vitamin Cottage. The service is absolutely EXCELLENT! I have come to enjoy going shopping now more than ever bc of the friendliness and professionalism at this Vit C. I must give a special shout out to Sara (with the gorgeous curls),Cole, Clementina, Steven, Pam and Kevin-Ann. They are all so genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. And might I add cool as hell! Anytime I need help with finding an item, or need help with what item to buy...the staff here is EXCELLENT in getting me what I need quickly. It's an oasis from all the hectic crazy in life to come here. It's calm, CLEAN, organized and always well stocked. The Produce at this Vitamin Cottage is better than ANY I have found in the city and way better than the Conifer Vit C. The employees are the BEST part though. They really go above and beyond to create a 5++++ star experience when shopping here. It's the staff that makes it! This store is so obnoxious. As soon as you walk in the sales people are all over you. One day I bought a few things and forgot a bag. I didn't hear the end of it all the way out the store, "We need a BOX up here! We need a BOX up here!" There was this shorter blonde lady checking out my purchase and she made the BIGGEST scene over this box that I have not shopped there since. Another time I went in, the staff and some customers kept making comments about what I was wearing. I used to shop there a lot. Have not stepped foot in one since. read more

Between the new conifer location and lakewood, I'd go to any of those before jumping to this one. Nice people, just selection is bit out of whack and it's hard to suggest any new products as they have you jump through hoops and make you come at certain times to 'talk' to someone about it, they don't accept suggest cards like they use too... I love this store! They have the freshest, most beautiful, all organic produce and a full selection of the healthiest foods you can find. Of course, they stock all the vitamins and supplements available and will order something for you if they don't carry it in stock. The personnel are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Check them out next time you're in Bergen Park. Tip: sales taxes are low up here too! read more
