Been with Natural Grocers since day 1 at Dillon when they first came in. I think I was the first one in the door. If I ever moved somewhere it would have to have a Natural Grocers. Frisco is awsome. Surprisingly fair prices and some good deals here. They've got a great bulk selection with some unique items (I got the lemon almonds and the "Keeping it Real Trail Mix," which is aptly named as it's a nut and seed protein packed mix with just enough sweetness, (unlike the cloyingly sweet mix that comprises most). I was looking for some thing for my sun burnt face from skiing and a super nice gentlemen pointed me to a few options, (which he was super knowledgeable about,) and I ended up getting one of the products he recommended (a product he mentioned was created by a local resident) and it worked absolutely amazing. I love this store! When I moved out here from Chicago more than a year ago, I found myself missing Whole Foods and Trader Joe's like none other. Soon enough, I discovered this store. Henna hair dye! Tofu everything! Organic produce! A million different kinds of nut spreads! Natural deodorant! Recycled toiled paper! My inner hippie was in heaven. Compared to WFM (Whole Foods Market) this store carries very affordable organics, meat, veggies/fruits, vitamins, breads, meds and others. Very helpful staff. When we are back to this area we will be visiting/shopping here again. Too bad we don't have one of these in IL... :( It would be nice if WFM had some competition, maybe it would drive their prices down a bit. BYOSP - bring your own shopping bag. Normally I don't give Vitamin Cottage this high of kudos but this one has been the best one I have been to so far. Nice candy selection. I happened to come across some delicious clove cookies here up at the front lanes. I haven't been able to find them at any other Vitamin Cottage except here. That means different VC stores carry different things. Bummer. read more

Very affordable organics, happy meat, and of course, vitamins. Feels good to shop here without breaking the bank. Plenty of selection (no, not City Market/Safeway selection, give me a break), especially in the frozen meat area. We thought we had found a treasure chest! Grass fed organic meats at big grocery store prices. I think we bought close to 10 pounds of meat. Also filled up the cart with organic veggies, fruit, and more and we walked out with a box full of food for around $100, which we thought to be completely reasonable. We would have spent $100 at the regular grocery store on much lower quality food for sure. Bring your own bags. They don't have any. They do have boxes though if you forget like we did. read more

I have done the research and I know that whatever I purchase at Natural Grocer's will be clean, organic, non-GMO, and good for me. I do not shop at Whole Foods anymore. If you are a vegetarian or vegan and like to cook in the mountains, look no further. Good cheap organic produce, nice breads, lots of organic packaged beans, tomatoes, and pastas. Don't count on them for variety, for fresh meat/fish/poultry or for hard-to-find ingredients but do hit them up for all the basics you need at a really low price. Also, I think they close at 8PM even on weekends. read more

I love this store! I know that all their veggies and fruits are ORGANIC. If I go to Wholefoods, I need to check every single item if it is organic or not. The only downside is no fresh fish, meat etc. but oh well ...they have it frozen :) and they carry my favorite grass fed beef. Clean store with friendly and helpful staff. My favorite is the bulk section! I buy all of my spices here and re-fill my spice jars. That method is much less cost than buying spices in the jar from the "regular" grocery store. The supplement section and beauty section are both great. Supplement prices are comparable to online stores and often less expensive than Whole Foods across the street (with a larger selection than WF). I purchase some pantry items here but never produce as there is a larger and better selection in other stores around town. My one wish would be a better frequent shopper program. The npower program just isn't great with point targets which are hard to achieve and coupons for thing I just don't purchase. I still shop here for items I use, but if the company made one change, re-vamping that program would be what I would suggest. read more

Stuck in Keystone for the month, I was pleasantly surprised to find this offshoot of Vitamin Cottage tucked away in a strip mall. Coming from Boulder, their prices are cheaper than Whole Foods, and on par or cheaper than City Market for comparable items (e.g. Justin's nut butters). Extensive bulk food selection and 3 varieties of kale for $1.50 a bunch, how can you beat that? read more

I like the selection of good food. The produce can be hit or miss. I like the fact they reuse boxes instead of handing out plastic bags. The people that work here are funky. I hate the hours. Be open normal hours like other grocery stores. read more

This location is a lot larger (or feels that way), and better planned than the VC by my house. I was happy to find what I needed not too far out of the way from my condo. I agree on the variety of the items they do carry, but I have to rate this location higher than the one I usually shop at. read more

i love the fact that they sell stuff cheaper then City Market ..... workers are very attentive and even tho they don't have as much of a variety as Whole Foods i am hooked i love their bulk even tho they like to pack it, it's affordable maca powder was 46.69 from 18.99 so the price went up big time :) also new hours open at 8AM read more

I love this place and it was a life saver! I had a bad cold - sinus infection and I was able to get some stuff that helped immensely.The prices are great as is the selection.I'm used to paying a third more for some of what I bought at Whole Foods.It's across the street from the brew pub and close to the highway.It's a stop well worth making. read more
