But they do have produce and meat we can't seem to find elsewhere in the area. Specifically, for meat, beef heart and a couple of seafood items. For produce, a really great pepper selection (large poblanos, nice serranos) and most definitely fresh okra. We tend to want to buy organic, and Winco doesn't come close, so we are aware that a lot of this stuff is "dirty" - but once in a while when you want to make a particular dish, Winco fulfills the bill.

Produce is amazing, very high quality, the organic sweet potatoes a few weeks back were the best, my kids were even requesting &eating them as snacks :-) Lots of organics, lots of high quality, good looking produce!! Although many times small quantities(usually there is more in back, if you need it because you have a large family like me, just ask :-)) While not of interest to me and my family, they have a wide variety of vegan/plant based items. Everything from meat & dairy substitutes to vegan frozen pizza &a wide variety of snacks!! My younger kids(9,10,& 12)love coming in with me to see what they can find, its always like a treasure hunt for them since stock changes often(I love this too)!! They love all the unique products, it has even encouraged my picky, autistic daughter to try more things & that is a huge plus for this mama!! I love the bargains, such amazing prices, knowing I can still get a full cart of groceries for ~$100...where else is that possible??? Yes, sometimes dates are a bit close, but my kids eat so much that's never a problem!! Heck, some of the items are in the "never go bad" category & it really doesn't matter(do cans of tomatoes ever really expire? Coffee?) You will also often get bounce back coupons on your receipt, an extra $3-5 off your next purchase, it's not alot, but everything helps in today's economy-AND its on top of their already low prices!! We have met the owners, tonight Dave(one half of the husband/wife owner team)bagged my groceries and gave my kiddos candy bars, they were so excited!! He even remembered that I had 2 more(one was at gymnastics, one stayed in the car)&told them to pick for their siblings too. You just cannot ask for more!!! A few weeks ago we met Chrystal(her photo at the entrance does not do her justice!!)& I believe one, maybe 2 of their children working in the produce dept. As a mom, I appreciate the lessons they're instilling :-) It is definitely a family affair, which in turn creates an amazing family atmosphere!!! We have lived in 11 states over the last 23yrs, I can honestly say this is probably my favorite store ever, definitely top 3 for sure(up there with HEB of TX & Woodman's of WI). I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-) Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)

I found the best deals on meats, dairy vegetables, cereals and snacks for my family and friends to enjoy at great prices. Plus they have frozen jalapeño poppers that are very tasty. The store is clean. The restrooms are accessible. The carts are well-maintained. But the biggest thing that grade for any company is service; the customer service here has always been friendly and professional. Stores like this help my family fight inflation prices, as do the farmer markets.

It was complicated enough that I created a list of each and changed it often, I wouldn't expect anyone to follow all the changes perfectly unless they paid close attention, but the Costco Pharmacy stayed ahead of it all, including when items could or could not be issued so as to be covered by insurance. The only thing I had to do was when they sent that a refill was available, I had to determine if this was on the current list, or it had been subsumed so I shouldn't refill it. Very impressed by their computer system here! As high quality as Costco's CRM system to monitor purchases.

Over 2 1/2 hours later I was finally able to get out of there with the wheel, which I put back on the vehicle myself while they struggled to figure out the paperwork. There are plenty of other tire shops that for a little more money won't waste your time.

Next day just as the groceries were loaded in my vehicle, I was charged an additional $7.95 without explanation. I went into the store (is this convenient and saving time?) and inquired about the additional charge that I didn't authorize. They had no clue. The customer service representative called back to the grocery pickup service, they said that everything was fine and didn't have any clue about the additional charges. So I contacted Fred Meyer/ Kroger website. They asked if my bank put a hold on my credit card. No this is a charge directly from Fred Meyer. Several emails back and forth, not only to find out what the extra $7.95 was for, but how they are able to charge my credit card without authorization because that's the scary stuff. The last correspondence with Fred Meyer/ Kroger customer service asked for a screenshot of my order before they changed the price and changed me the additional amount. OMG, take this as a warning. If you're going through the pickup service, make sure that you are prepared for their deception and scam process to prove that they have the right to charge whatever they seem fit, at their discretion, and without your consent.
