But they do have produce and meat we can't seem to find elsewhere in the area. Specifically, for meat, beef heart and a couple of seafood items. For produce, a really great pepper selection (large poblanos, nice serranos) and most definitely fresh okra. We tend to want to buy organic, and Winco doesn't come close, so we are aware that a lot of this stuff is "dirty" - but once in a while when you want to make a particular dish, Winco fulfills the bill.

I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-) Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)

Poor management or just bad training?…read more The cashiers have minimal training and apparently are unable to identify basic fruits (grapes) and vegetables (cucumbers) correctly, resulting in overcharges on multiple visits. I hope that this is just poor management and not intentional deceptive trade practices. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave to avoid being overcharged and having to make a return trip for a refund. It was a good store but I don't think I can give them another try, they lost a customer.

It was complicated enough that I created a list of each and changed it often, I wouldn't expect anyone to follow all the changes perfectly unless they paid close attention, but the Costco Pharmacy stayed ahead of it all, including when items could or could not be issued so as to be covered by insurance. The only thing I had to do was when they sent that a refill was available, I had to determine if this was on the current list, or it had been subsumed so I shouldn't refill it. Very impressed by their computer system here! As high quality as Costco's CRM system to monitor purchases.

I don't know whether that is his real name, but it is the name he gave me. I will spare the unpleasant detail, but the encounter was unpleasant enough -- apparently intentionally, not just chance error -- that my wife and I have already canceled all of our current prescriptions and refills at this Pharmacy. Life is unpleasant enough, without pharmacy techs on power trips wasting an additional hour of my life for no apparent reason. Indeed, I think this might be the first time in my life that I may have been racially profiled by a customer service worker. I am leaving this rating here primarily because I think it likely that "Hugo" has provided similar customer service to other customers in the past, and probably in the future. Customer, BEWARE! My experiences with her have been very positive--she has always been helpful and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the male pharmacist has been very different. My son is 30 years old and is an independent adult. I am listed as his emergency contact, but I have no authority over his healthcare or prescriptions. While I was simply picking up a prescription, this pharmacist discussed an issue involving my son's medication with me and repeatedly pressured me to make my son take certain action. I clearly told him that my son is an adult, that his prescriptions are his responsibility, and that he needed to discuss the matter directly with my son. Despite my repeatedly making that clear, he continued to put me in the middle of the situation and told me that he would no longer fill my son's prescriptions. What makes this particularly troubling is that the situation arose after the pharmacy itself had made a dispensing error involving a controlled medication. I completely understand that mistakes can happen and that the pharmacy needed to address and correct the error. My concern is with the way this particular pharmacist handled the situation with me and his refusal to respect the boundary I repeatedly established. This is also not the first time I have asked that matters involving my adult son's prescriptions be discussed directly with him rather than with me. Before posting this review, I made several attempts to address my concerns privately with Broulim's management. I put my concerns in writing and followed up, but as of the date of this review I have received no response or acknowledgment. Again, I do not want this review to reflect negatively on the female pharmacist, who has been very helpful to me. My concern is specifically with my interactions with the male pharmacist and with management's lack of response when I attempted to address the situation privately. I am not looking for compensation or trying to create a legal dispute.
