There is a guy at the natural grocers in Monument that works in the vitamin department and is vegan like me. He is absolutely amazing at recommendations and his knowledge of vitamins and minerals and essential supplements for a vegan (or anyone) is absolutely astonishing. He knows all of the products extremely well and if you even take one or two supplements, you know that your choices are endless, but that very few are "high-quality" and well absorbed by the body. He is an expert and makes the store shine! I feel bad I don't know his name off-hasn't, as it's humans like these that are rare and provide amazing Customer Service nowadays and I truly appreciate it! read more

4stars mostly because they are an earth friendly store. You don't have to worry that the products you buy like meats eggs fish etc are caged and not treated humanely and not sustainable. Their products are all organic not chemically laced. Yes, they are as sustainable as packaged products can be in the time of Covid. Produce well I'm a produce snob so it's organic. I'll leave it there. They have a great spice, dairy ( carry our fav organic valley which We love their ethics) Sections. A really nice pasta section as well as Earth friendly cleaning supplies. They also stock glass water bottles which I prefer to metal hate the metallic taste of metal bottles. The Man even liked going in here. This read more

Best grocery store in monument. Every time I go in, I don't feel stressed out and having to maneuver around thousands of other customers. Can get all my shopping done is reasonable time as well since the store isn't gigantic like all the others near by. Great selection, employees are all wonderful and nice. Will continue shopping here over the extremely busy and annoying King Soopers down the street. read more

They actually have fresh Organic produce. Very nice. Probably the most reliable grocery in the area for that.

Love this grocery store so much. Shelves are always nicely stocked and the produce is always fresh. Great prices and really nice employees!

The big draw for me is the organic produce. Especially the greens like lettuce, kale and chard. If it's fresh veggies, it's organic. No thinking involved. Pricing on the vegan meat and dairy replacements are almost always better than King Soopers down the road. Good selection of vegan prepared frozen entrees as well. And the checkout people are always friendly and helpful. Lots of vitamins if you're into that. Non dairy milk selection is awesome. This and King Soopers are my "go to" stores. read more

While Kroger's brand King Soopers down the street has just recently found religion and began providing more organic and healthy options, Natural Grocers has been doing it for decades. Produce is always fresh and organic. Ample choices beyond produce on shelves, frozen and refrigerated sections. Staff is always friendly and super helpful. One of the best food shopping experiences you will have. Easy access just off I-25, Baptist Road exit. Less than a quarter mile from freeway. Bring your own bags or they have boxes you can use. read more

I really enjoyed the organic produce here, though the selection is limited. The meats here have been good too though quite limited. The customer service however really needs help. I've had clerks make me feel foolish for asking questions: (1) i asked the produce manager if he had leeks - he responded with no eye contact or turn of the head and said dryly, "no the plumber fixed them" and kept filling his bins, never missing a beat. He said it loudly too and it turned heads. . it was definitely meant to be more sarcastic than funny - he never did answer my question either. thanks for making me feel embarrassed though i daresay, you sir, was the one who looked liked an ass. (2) I also asked a clerk filling a shelving area of tofu & meats if she she knew what Seitan could be used in. Once again, I got an eyeroll and a sigh - she promptly stood up - didn't make eye contact, took the package out of my hand and read the ingredients aloud. Then she surmised it was meat substitute of sorts. She turned without eye contact once again and went back to stocking. No more questions to the staff of Natural Grocers on North Academy. I can find many other ways to make myself feel foolish if I want to. read more

First time to the store. New to the area. Wesley, the store manager, was so kind and helpful. Immediately asked if I needed help finding anything. I told him it was my first time in the store and I was just trying to get the lay of the land. He later found me and welcomed me with a new reusable bag. The cashier was also friendly and warm. Cool place that's a little smaller than other Natural Grocers in the area but still offers a good selection of healthier, natural, unprocessed foods and a good selection of organic produce. I go here often for my kombucha needs (of which they have an entire refrigerated wall dedicated) and healthy snacks. Go here if you live in Monument and you don't feel like driving south to Sprouts or Whole Foods. Expect to pay about the same you'd budget for either of those places. I still prefer WF, but if you're in need of a quick grocery trip, this isn't a bad option. read more

What has happen to this location? Horrible start then got better for a short time now even worse then before.... hard to find anyone in the aisles and the one lady that I thought was going to help just ignored me as we passed each other on the vitamin aisles not once or twice but three times. I asked the cashier who the lady was since she strolled in front of the registers to go to a back office and he told me that was the new manager.....certainly didn't look or act as a manager. I won't be back until this company gets its act together. 2nd store with this type of treatment in 2 days. Go to King Soopers or Sprouts. Both have similar specialized sections now and much cheaper. read more

I would love to see this store do well. It is great aside from their fresh meat. We have probably wasted close to $100 on meat that was rotten when purchased (before expiration). Worse, we've brought some of it back and exchanged it for ANOTHER bad package. When we brought this up with the employees, they seemed less than concerned about this consistently dangerous situation. Just today we opened a package with 2 weeks until the date and it was borderline useable. Overall this store is good but I highly recommend buying your meat somewhere else, I don't know what they're doing over there to the meat. read more

Ok, I am not your typical customer as I drive a truck and eat red meat. However, my 13 year old son recently went vegan so now nutrition is a lot more expensive and difficult. I needed to get some simulated cheese, so I stopped in. I was amazed at the prices on not only that item but many others. I found the Gardein brand to be much less than at the larger chain stores. My experience had no negatives, so I will be back. I even bought some things for myself while there. Thank You, Jeff read more
