No way! I've not reviewed this location. This was my store when I lived in Vegas. I came here for chicken that's air chilled but also left with electrolytes, eye vitamins, organic non gmo lemons (with seeds) and sardines... they have sardines for $1.75!!! iykyk... Shawn helped me at checkout. Very engaging being supportive about my sardines and the 3 day sardine fast... he's doing it too. At $1.75 in water and no salt can't get much cleaner than that. This location also has a nutritionist who does weekly seminars and free one on one nutrition guidance! I spent a lot of time in their rows of supplements looking for and found what I wanted. The workers here are so sweet and kind every time I've gone here ! Today I saw some of the workers have to deal with negative/problem customers and it makes me sad to read these reviews. They deserve a better rating! The produce here is amazing and they have such a variety of different fruits/veggies!! Look how beautiful this romanesco is they had there today!! I had to wait a long time in line but it wasn't anyone's fault! The customer in front of me just had trouble with his email or something getting himself put in their system. I read every 1 star review and they are so SILLY! People are so impatient and seem to lack any sense of GRACE so quick to blame others for their own problems.. I love this store! The organic selection is really good. It has some nice gluten free options that the big chains don't have. For those who are gluten free try the Turmeric Amaranth pasta it is very good tasting and it doesn't fall apart in the sauce! The staff is helpful, pleasant and available to ask questions to. My first visit to a Natural Grocer was fine, if not particularly exciting. As the name suggests, they are a grocery store in the tradition of natural markets of years past, meaning they've got all that kooky healthy stuff you might not find at a more commercialized market as in, say, Sprouts. It means their dietary supplements section takes up nearly half the store, and their dried herbs and related items, found in small bulk bags lining an entire aisle, run the range of herbs for cooking, to teas, barks, and all sorts of ingredients of which I could not begin to guess their use! They still have plenty of standards though, too, and while prices tend to be high, they offer sales on occasion, and their clearance can be pretty awesome. I recently stocked up on local Solstice chocolate bars marked down to $3! They also had Honey Mama bars (one of my favorite "healthy" chocolate options) the cheapest I've ever seen. I've been on the hunt for the best earth friendly toilet paper option, and Natural Grocers had the largest variety of anywhere, so I bought a pack of every variety for testing (if you want to know, the winner was Seventh Generation's bleached recycled paper - you're welcome). Their produce section is small, but it'll do in a pinch, and they have a great variety of dried mushrooms. Snacks and candy are on point, their kombucha variety is huge, and this is one of the few places I've ever seen REAL powdered wasabi. They offer many local products as well. My cashier was very friendly, and suggested I join their rewards programs, which, yes, I know they of course want you to do that, but I've shopped a few other Natural Grocer locations and this was never mentioned to me! It was super easy to set up via my cell, and I received an immediate $5 off. Every few weeks they email a coupon for $5 off $60 or similar! This location is newer, very clean, and well organized. I've grown to appreciate many aspects of NG, and while I'm unlikely to ever do all my week's grocery shopping here, I certainly could if I desired! read more

I love this store because they have a lot of organic food. They are usually well stocked. Sometimes they have really kind, sweet cashiers and other times if you ask them a question they act like you're putting them out. They don't say hello or goodbye or thank you. They act annoyed that you're in their line. This was my experience yesterday and I've had this experience before. When I was in customer service, we were expected to be kind to the customers and that's what I have implemented my entire life. read more

Their organic produce is overly priced and doesn't even look good. I've never bought any because I felt like I could get better selection at Harmon's or sprouts. They have King Arthur flour for $6 a bag and target has the same bag for 3.50! Why so expensive? They have a asile of spices which I like. I also appreciate all the nuts they have ( not the employees but the actual nuts haha) Their oat is really good and reasonably priced. I usually get steel cut. Prices are a hit and miss. I usually just come for the nuts/ oats/ and when they have a sale on DermaE lotion. They have tons of vitamins you can purchase if you can't find them at a regular store. I have loved shopping here over the years! My favorite part that it's small enough to get in and get out with the things I need without having to walk all over to find what I need. Customer service is AMAZING and started to get to know me by name. Their supplements are amazing! It's like Good Earth but much better in some aspects because almost each time I've gone, I've gotten quality information from one of the staff who is knowledgeable how the supplants can help. Super in depth talk! I also love buying their "bulk" items from their Natural Grocers brand. Their spices/seasonings, flour selection for sensitivities. Also I love their chocolate. Older woman who is cashier is an anti-masker. The customer in front of me was not wearing a mask, the cashier had half her mask pulled down as well. When the customer noticed me and mentioned not wearing a mask the cashier replied, "I don't care, doesn't bother me." Cashier never sanitized after the customer left. Even if she doesn't care about the mandated mask policy I do. I'm currently the care taker for my at-risk husband. I've already lost my grandparents this year to covid, I can't think about losing my husband because some idiot refused to wear a mask and the employees at the location support the decision. read more

This location of the Natural Grocers chain just opened up March 15th. Now Salt Lake has no less than five organic and health oriented grocers to choose from, including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Good Earth, and Real Foods. Natural Grocers is quickly becoming my favorite. They have really great sales on top of very good prices. Every single vegetable in the produce section is organic, so pick away and forget reading those tiny little stickers! I seriously can not believe how affordable the organic produce is compared to WF, RF, and GE! From a vitamin perspective, Natural Grocers is owned by The Vitamin Cottage, so naturally the vitamin and homeopathic section is bomb! I bought my favorite product "Kick Ass Sinus" by Wish Garden Herbs for $15.99 which is a better price than buying direct or from WF. I nearly fell over with shock and joy when I saw GT's Gingerade and Trilogy kombucha on tap! If you haven't made the switch to organic, Natural Grocers is a fabulous place to get started and if you are already a regular pesticide avoider, check this amazing grocery store out! read more

Ironically for being a "natural" store the produce selection is very limited and low-quality (though all organic!) and the majority of the store is supplements. However, it does have lots of hard-to-find health food brands great private label pantry goods. Perfect if you're on a special diet, and I love that they offer boxes instead of bags. read more

A nice little grocery store comparable to Sprouts but much smaller. I like all the vegan and organic options they offer, they carry a lot of local products which is really cool. Sweets from City Cakes and many others. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It costs to purchase a bag which is a concept I really admire, let's try to save our planet by reducing the amount of waste we produce, use reusable bags! A little on the pricey side for the vegan options but mainly every store that carries vegan options has them on the pricey side. read more

Catch-22 here unfortunately reduces the amount I'll spend here - On one hand, you've got a fantastic selection of health foods, but on the other hand you've got too few customers to turn over the product, so what you're left with is healthy items that have been sitting on the shelf so long they're close to expiration. The last time I visited this prevented me from purchasing several items I normally would have, like eggs. I really hope more people start shopping here so there's a higher turnover of items. The store itself has a great selection of health food and produce, and I'll keep shopping here, paying close attention to sell by dates. read more

Just visited the store to get a few things and ended up walks big up and down the food aisles. What a nice, quiet store. Erin helped me out and is delightful. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet her when you go. They have some great clearance carts in the back where I got some Tates gluten-free cookies at a great markdown. I called Natural Grocers at 5:45 pm Saturday to see if they had a certain product. I was told by the person who checked on it they had and in fact they had 4 crates of the produce. So Sunday while it was snowing I went down there. There was none. And when I talked to a manager wanting to file some complaint because I had traveled some distance all she could tell me was well that was the day before? Honestly, I don't think there was a rush of this between that time. We are talking butter lettuce here and 4 supposedly 4 crates. No apology, no I am sorry you came here, nothing just a matter of fact well that was yesterday. Never going there again. Their customer service does not appear to be the best. read more

Too many rude and not helpful employees in this location with not enough tasks to do. I heard some employees making fun of certain customers because of their appearance, evidently they are not busy at all and when you ask for some help they make you feel as if you were a pain in their butts. They are not polite at all. I just gonna say if you don't like your job then quit. I think Natural Grocers should start paying attention to the customer complaints. I have visited other natural grocers locations and employees are nice but sadly not here in South Jordan. read more

Love this store! Always has great produce. They have treated customers kindly in the midst of Covid-19. They respected mask exemptions until the most recent mandates (unfortunately I think they were bullied into this). I hope they will continue to respect all customers wether they choose wear masks or not. read more

I love this market!!! They have stuff here that I can't find anywhere else, hello vegan jerky!!! It seems like a small market but I'm able to do all of my grocery shopping here and not need any fill ins from other markets. My mom from California came with me and she wishes they had one close to her. Employees are super friendly and know their stuff here. read more

I love Natural Grocer's stores and was very excited when this one opened. I was disappointed though when I went in to shop. Half of the produce items I wanted to get looked bad; wilted, mushy or bruised. They didn't have any pastured eggs in stock and the yogurt I wanted had an expiration date of the same day I was shopping. I still appreciated the positive aspects of Natural Grocers, such as low prices, organic produce, a large vitamin selection and friendly employees. read more

This place is a joke! Customer service is horrible. The 2 people there knew nothing and told me I would have to wait days for a manager to be in for me to talk to because they couldn't help me. They have no knowledge of anything. Doesn't even deserve one star. Take my advice go to Sprouts! read more

I am an instacart shopper, I had an order at 10622 Redwood, 7/5/20, it was a very bad experience. The staff, which was 5 I encountered was bad, except the guy in produce, he was the only friendly, helpful one without a problem of me being black. I give him 10 stars, and a raise if possible, but the female cashier, actually both they are HATERS, MEAN and gave me the wrong information on finding the items needed. I wasted over 5-7 minutes or longer looking for the grocery, I had to constantly chased down someone, then I notice no one was suddenly, around??? was it because they did not want to help me?? Next after a long delay I was in line, waiting noticed the signs posted stay back and not to come forward till, as posted. Now, when my turn came the cashier let the other customer behind me come within my space, let her put her groceries on the belt while i was still paying and packing, now the sign I noticed said" DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON THE BELT TILL CUSTOMER HAD LEFT" no, this was not the case for me, she even sprayed the belt after me, but not before me when the customer in front left??? Now, this makes you wonder why this store has selective policies, can it follow the rules for all customers and want to PROTECT everyone? like myself? And they don't care how they treat you or let you see the differences, I feel that this put my health and life in danger since I was not protected, nor given the same respect I saw others receive! read more
