A friend of mine likes to go for foot massages and invited me to try this place with her. She called to schedule for 45 minutes on a Saturday and we had our choice of a couple of afternoon times. When we arrived they had a room all set up for us. Although a foot massage of that length involves some additional perks such as massaging your head, neck and calves, you remain clothed with a blanket over you. Our massages started and ended at the same time and our providers worked quietly and efficiently. This type of Asian massage technique can get a bit intense, and there was a point while my calves were being done that I almost asked for less pressure, but at the same time I figured I clearly needed that tension worked out so went with it. If you think your feet are ticklish and you can't have your feet massaged, I would say give it a try because I didn't encounter that issue whatsoever. I walked out feeling incredibly relaxed and I'm very impressed with their skill. I would love to go back for a massage more focused on my biggest problem areas from my neck to my back and think I will do so soon, especially as their prices are incredibly reasonable at about a dollar a minute depending on the service you choose. Truly the best massage of my entire life with Leo. I'm in town for rare disease medical treatment and staying at Family House which is about 1/2 mile walk away. I just had a 30 minute back massage with the owner Leo and I feel like I'm floating on a cloud. I pulled some shoulder muscles exercising and have been so sore. This was the best thing I could have done for myself. I called 3 minutes before opening and they said I could come right on over. They were super efficient and brought me right on to the room. The facilities are clean and no frills. OK now for the massage. It started out over the towel. Then after a bit the towel was removed and he used a Chinese medicine medicated oil and it felt. So. Good. Leo must have some magical strength in his hands because all these mystery knots in my back just released. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and you can certainly ask for more or less. At the end he used a hot stone to further break apart all my tension and that felt so soothing. Oh my goodness. I don't have the right words to describe how relaxed I feel. Mind you, Chinese massage therapy tends to be a bit painful to really work out knots, so don't expect a light dainty massage! Their prices are super reasonable ($35 for 30 min!). Went with my boyfriend for the 70 minute deep tissue couples massage with hot stone treatment. We were both very satisfied. I told the masseuse that this was our first time getting a deep tissue massage and she asked me to let her know if she needed to use more/less pressure, and checked on me one more time during the massage. It was 70 minutes on the dot in a quiet, dark room all the way in the back and our massages started and ended at the same time. My partner and I showed up 10 minutes late due to the bad weather but the staff were very accommodating. They were so prepared and efficient that we were able to get started within 10 minutes of arriving. The massage starts out over the blanket, which I expected through other reviews I'd read. They then remove the blankets and use pain oil in addition to regular oil, which was lovely for our tired muscles. Our massage also included a brief hot stone treatment. I purchased a Groupon early in the morning and booked my massage for 6 that same evening. The staff was very friendly and they both had on masks. The lady at the front desk walked me back and told me to get undressed she then came back and started my massage. The room I was in was the one on the right of the one I took a picture of and it had a heated table. Massage started off strange, she massages me through the towel not sure if it's a COVID precaution or if that's normal but I didn't like it. But after the first 10-15mins she did move the towel put on gloves and use the oil. The massage I purchased was the 50 min with pain relief oil and hot stone. ($34 groupon) I missed the hot stone in the description and was surprised when she pulled them out lol but overall it was a nice massage.
