Three hours later: chip on right index finger. All I did was put laundry in the dryer. What a waste of money!

One word to sum it up: TERRIBLE! READ THE REVIEW THAT IS "NOT RECOMMENDED" I'm the kind of the girl that likes to have my nails polished all the time as I figure it's just regular maintenance. So, it's the Sunday before work and we're expecting temperatures of -22 in Toronto on Monday AND my usual nail place is closed for Vietnamese New Year. I thought there's no way I'm going out at lunch the next day in that cold to get my nails done so I'll find a place close to home. Checked Yelp and this seems to be the most decent; albeit, two reviews were three years ago. Made the appointment and arrived on time. First thing was that I was being pushed to do a shellac. I said no thanks a few times but she kept insisting I do it as they had a special. Again, no thanks. From the minute I sat down to the time I left (45 minutes in total), she had a loud conversation in Vietnamese with the two men by the counter - I felt like Elaine in that Seinfeld episode! Never once did she even acknowledge me. I had to interrupt to point out that she missed some of the edges and she said, "I don't like to do edge because it get on skin." - like WTF! Then she continued the loud Vietnamese conversation. The bag that my top coat was in fell on the ground while my nails were wet, she said, "just leave." Never once did anyone pick it up for me! I was dying to get out to there but my nails were wet and then three kids started running around the salon. Finally she comes over and, without touching, she says, "I think nails dry. You go now." I asked her if she had a quick dry spray (like most salons). Then, without asking, she proceeds to put one quick brush of some cheap looking shit on my nails and it made them more wet and bubbly ... again, WTF! It was the kind of place that you knew it wasn't worth arguing. OK so I then go to pay and a 10-year-old kid is at the cash. He was really sweet and I felt bad because it was a child to not leave tip so I only left her a twonie along with a scowl on the way out the door. What a joke of place. Got home and there's all kinds of dents in my nails from the shit she put on in the end. Now I have deal with -22 tomorrow and go to my regular place for them to do a polish change. I felt like I took $17 (+$12 for polish change tomorrow) and flushed it down the toilet at that shit hole. I haven't been this pissed in a long time - they deserve to go out of business - F*&^ERS!!! NOTE: THREE HOURS LATER - CHIP ON RIGHT INDEX FINGER!

    Beautiful Nails!!!

It was my first time getting acrylic nails and I wanted to find something closer and I found this place. The people here are so friendly and nice. They took their time getting my nails done and it turned out so beautiful. I would definitely go back to this place.

    Absolutely dazzling, love it!

My girlfriend came here to get her nails done here after a day of work. Waiting for her to get them…read moredone, I could see how rude the staff were. Typical of an asian nail salon, I'm asian, I can say this LMAO. The nails were streaky and weren't shaped well, but I convinced her to try this salon because it's close by and she'd never been there before. To make matters worse, at the end, the owner told my girlfriend there's a $1 fee that is mandatory on top of the nails for the sponge which wasn't exactly mentioned prior to getting the nails done. The owner justified it by saying that the sponge is used on you and is new - sanitary reasons for the $1. I feel as though it should be factored into the price. You don't go to a dentist and get charged extra after for sanitary extras. It's just in the price. So, we found that extremely odd but it wasn't worth the trip or the experience. However, they do let you keep the sponge. ROFLMFAO 1/5

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE…read more I went to get a nail fixed (whenever my nails crack or split, I go to get a layer put on top to stop me from having to cut it super short) as I do a couple times a year. The place I normally go was closed. So they said they'd do it and said it was $5.65. Normally it's $3-5 so whatever that's fine. (This is without colour, just two layers of gel). When I stood up to pay she said $5.65 and then when we got to cash she said $9.05. I repeated her and she said "Tax". Tax is 1.13%. Please don't go there. They charged me $10 ("only 9" is what she said to me) to fix one f---- nail, a full set - as I read on their pricing sheet - is $30. So unless they're actually charging $100 for a full set of gel nails with NO COLOUR she made a nice f---- tip for herself. Please for the love of god don't go here. Such a blatant rip off.
