Most phenomenal vegan food around! So good you'd have no idea and not even miss that type of protein.

    Bhajia, stew, risotto

We stumbled into here after the Roc City Holiday Village, and I'm so glad we did. Three of us ordered 7 things, for a grand total of $37. The food was amazing, there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. We ordered the gnocchi (x2), risotto, lentils, pizza, bhajia, and stew. Highly recommend to everyone.

I've been in Rochester for 2 years now and I can't believe I haven't been here sooner! I came here for dinner on a weekday with a vegan friend and we loved it. The food was delicious. Everything is vegan and served tapas style. We got the risotto, Ethiopian lentils, bhaji and special of the day chipotle curry. Our favorites were the risotto and curry. Both well seasoned and tasty. Each plate was $4 so at the end of the night, we each paid $10.40. Not a bad way to fill up. I can't wait to come back. Tldr: Natural Oasis is great if you're on a budget (cheap dates!), want a break from meat (meatless Mondays!) or just enjoy good food.

Probably my new top spot for "I'm hungry and need something healthy that won't cost me too much more than cooking dinner for myself." Had dinner plans with my vegetarian gal pal and looking for something new - my Yelpers came through for me with this spot. We ordered 5 dishes for two people, left paying $10.80 each and with a mess ton of leftovers. You cannot beat that for food of this quality. Common theme seems to be that the lentils and gnocchi are the top picks - and I would agree 100%. The only dish I was not absolutely crazy about was the risotto, and even that was tasty just a little lacking in flavor compared to the rest of the dishes. The injera is not as tasty as a Zemeta or Abyssinia type resto that focuses exclusively on Ethiopian cuisine, but the creativity in the dishes themselves absolutely makes up for that. If you're paying with card here, write in the tip on the receipt they give you at the end of your meal, and payment happens up at the counter. Overall, this is a perfect spot for a "something different" date night or din with friends. I feel like I have totally found a hidden treasure and I CANNOT wait to get back here for dinner ASAP.

Vegan lunch buffet. Cabbage is ahhmazing.

This is my favorite vegan lunch place in Rochester! The exterior is unassuming but, it's an all you can eat vegan Ethiopian lunch buffet that costs 9.72$ after tax! The choice are usually the same most visits, except the soup changes every so often. Basmati rice, bread, cabbage and carrots, collard greens, green beans and carrots, beets, vegetable soup etc. AMAZINGG! Everything is so delicious, its really unexpected. Definitely try it, especially during the cold months.

Especially for the journey TMS took to get to this area (FYI a nice 5hrs trip to get there). SO YOU KNOW THE STOMACH WAS ON EMPTY when up there. The place is TRENDY yet HUMBLE VEGAN restaurant. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and KNOWLEDGEABLE of the menu and just random things about veganism as a whole. MEAN'N they will not steer you wrong when it comes to your order. So...as YOU can see Society TheMadScientist TREAT'D himself to SOME TOP TIER EATS, now the PASTRAMI, MYSELF and I with the Mac Salad was the meal that was consumed before head'n back to BIG JERSEY and I would give the sandwich a 3.5/5. It was a bit better than good IMO (a suggestion to make it a BANGer melt the cheese a bit, especially of it is supposed to be a hot sandwich) their take on PASTRAMI isn't bad it's flavourful and a delight. It's just miss'n that certain JE NE SAIS QUOI yet Grass Fed is on the right track to have'n the BEST VEGAN PASTRAMI on the east coast (just a few tinkers and it will be there). I had been…read moregetting emails for a while, and I finally decided to try them out to help support my intermittent fasting regime. I was looking for more plant-based proteins and foods that would fill me up so I'm not quite as hungry when fasting. I really do enjoy this service. The quality of the food is very good. I love that there is a variety of meal options, and these are rotated in and out at a good rate. I think I've only had one or two repeat meals in the month I've been purchasing. I am not a vegan, but I do like to eat primarily plant-based and the recipes the chef comes up with are quite ingenious. They sound very interesting and have a lot of cultural influences. I particularly like the asian inspired meals, noodle bowls, Indian... last week there was a Moroccan Bean stew, and it looked so good, I let my dad have it because he wanted to try out a meal. I prefer to pick up my order each week. They have a nice curbside pickup system working right now. You can get food delivered for a fee to the Rochester and Buffalo areas. I prefer to save a few dollars and I have made it a part of my Sunday routine that's focused on me. There is only one drawback. Meals come to you in plastic take out containers. They are very durable and great for taking to work. But I wish these could somehow be more environmentally friendly. I do recycle, but I worry it's not enough. If you feel pressed for time in your week and would like to have really tasty, healthy, flavorful meals this is a great option. At $12.00 per meal, it is somewhat expensive, but at the same time maybe it's not given that food prices at grocery stores have gone up. It isn't a frozen Healthy Choice bowl, and you are getting your money's worth in terms of portion size, food quality and nutritional value.

I am an infantile vegan (only 5 months) and lasagna was a meal I was going to miss. Also I have found myself eating a lot of processed vegan foods due to convenience and sweet pea offered a solution to my *problems*. I ordered lasagna, butternut squash soup, muffins, and tikka masala. The muffins were amazing and moist and not chewy like a lot of vegan baked goods. The cauliflower bechamel in the lasagna was also noteworthy. But fast forward to the tikka masala- Wow! The price was right as the portions lasted me all week and saved me so much time. Also the nutrition information is provided and you can pronounce all the ingredients and the calories are reasonable. Also happy with the protein content of all these items! One recommendation would be- I personally added salt to the dishes. I find this common with vegan food though and appreciate that people can salt to taste. All of this, and the meals were dropped off at my door ready to be microwaved. I highly recommend even if not a vegan just a healthy option for those nights you can't or don't want to cook. Also to the other review that this place was pricey and packaging was not eco friendly- do you know that offering eco friendly packaging would subsequently increase costs even more? Unfortunately you can't have it all, at least without paying for it.

The inside was clean but the AC was barely noticeable on such a hot day. Waitress came over with water and an iPad for ordering then didn't show up for another 10+ minutes. I finally walked everything over the the counter to get her attention and placed my order. I started with the fresh veggie spring rolls. These were just ok. The dipping sauce was quite spicy, and even with that they tasted pretty bland. No discernible herbs in the rolls at all, just some tofu, carrot, & lettuce. For my entree I got a vegan banh mi. It came out warm and the baguette was crunchy, if a bit dense. Again, very little fresh veg on it which is usually the highlight of a banh mi. There was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce (unheard of on a banh mi!) and one or two sprigs of cilantro, along with the same sauce from the fresh spring rolls. It was a bit disappointing but at least it filled my belly. Couldn't find the waitress to ask for more water or napkins, so I made do with what I had. I'd eat here again if I really had to, but I'd prefer to try elsewhere.
