He did a free consultation had me get some X-rays and we started my plan of stopping the progression of degeneration and rebuilding and recovery. I just had my 2 reevaluation and the progress is anything short of phenomenal. I was hyper focused on my neck and not being able to move it that I didn't notice all the other issues that I had because I had become accustomed to the way my body felt. But during the review I was really concentrating on pointing out the improvements I have experienced that I didn't even have on my radar when I first went in . The range of motion in my shoulder improved by almost 50% I had a knot on my hand and 2 fingers that would not completely bend, complications from a previous surgery. ( knot is 90% smaller and fingers bend and move independently I would take 3-4 steps before my back would straighten out when standing up. I can now pop up and take off. I have lost 20Lbs with out changing my diet ( I do already eat a healthy clean diet ) My posture has greatly improved shoulders are naturally back and I stand taller. At that point, Health Horizons informed me that they will no longer take my insurance, and I need to pay out of pocket per visit ($55 per visit for approximately 2 months, multiple appointments). I agreed to this. Once they started asking me to make multiple appointments on multiple days of the week, I opted to stop treatment. The total length of treatment was approximately 3 months. Following that, I was suddenly informed by Health Horizons that the insurance company opted not to make any payments to Health Horizons, and I owed them $700. When I asked why it took the insurance company months to inform them of non-payment, they told me, "that's how it works". This chiropractor is the reason why this "form of treatment" has such a negative reputation both in the medical field and also among the general public. This office sees every patient not as a human being, but as a dollar sign. When their checks stopped being written, they suddenly had insurance issues, and I needed to pay up or else! The "chiropractor" actually left me threatening voice mail messages. Avoid these bottom-feeder scammers at all costs! In response to below: I would never bother with your unscrupulous business again. I will only warn others of your shady practice. this insurance is auto related insurance, not health insurance. I know how much insurance I carry and in this case, it was covered by another liable insurance carrier. In office treatment time averages 10-12 minutes per session. The sessions you are saying that are not covered by insurance in a month were about 10. So 10, 12 minute sessions costs $700 out of pocket??? It's sad that businesses like yours exist, taking advantage of people in uncertain times. You reap what you sow...
