Note that this review is for their online store. I live in NY but order my dog food from here. They are one of the few retailers that sell the Diamond Naturals pet food online. The ordering experience is great and smooth. What is absolutely amazing though is that I had told them my dog had cancer and I was putting him down, literally today and they sent me a lovely note and poem in an email. I appreciate the condolences and for them going above and beyond in reaching out to me. Such a great selection of natural and locally sourced raw food and healthy pet foods!! They have the brands that my dogs love and some that I want to try in the future and a sort of rewards program where you get a free bag of food after so many bags bought which is a good incentive since it does get expensive. I just wish the employees were more knowledgeable or outgoing/friendly, there is one woman who doesn't really ever talk and kind of just seems like she hates her life. Which is alright I guess since I know what I need and don't usually have questions however I feel like it would hinder someone's ability to get the assistance they need finding the right food and products for their pets. read more

Gene is very knowledgeable about all the products in the store and helped me pick out a better food option and treats for my dogs needs. He welcomed my husband and I to bring in our dog when we shopped. He even took a picture today and is putting him on the wall to share with everyone! Miss Suzanne is the ONLY person my dog will calmly allow to cut her nails. We took my pup several other places, tried at home and even went to the vet before bringing her here. Every time she would freak out and act like we were trying to hurt her, but with Miss Suzanne she sits calmly on her lap and let's her do her nails. She is amazing with my pup and I definitely will be bringing her here every time from now on. It also doesn't take long at all and is very reasonable priced. I know that other major pet stores charge double what they charge and do not provide the love and care Miss Suzanne does. The only thing I don't like is that there is only one Miss Suzanne and she is often fully booked. We need to start making clones of her so she can help all the good boys and girls. read more

I absolutely love this store. I have been a customer since we moved here and I found out online that they carried specialty pet food...not the crap you buy at the grocery store or petsmart. This store carries many wholesome products such as Innova Evo, Food for the soul, wilderness, weruva and many more. One of my cats came down with a serious illness and after researching what was the best food online for him I went to the store but did not see it on the shelf. I talked to the manager and they ORDERED the food for me. I just think it's awesome that A) I don't have to buy the food online because everyone else sells poor quality pet food disguised as health choices and B) I love that they care enough to talk to you, give you one on one advice and even special order products for their customers! read more

Typically when I utilize this location customer service is top notch. Unfortunately this was t the case yesterday. Manager named nick was short and rude to not only me, but his employee. They treat African American customers rude, and ignore African Americans who go into Naturally Unleashed stores. They refuse to tell African American patrons about products and programs. They will not carry your dog food to your car, this is only a privilege to white customers. If a white person walks in they give them customer service right away while you are standing there trying to find products for your dogs needs. I have experienced this at all of the Naturally Unleashed Stores. I think this issue is motivated by the owners. This has been a ongoing problem with this company!! read more

I came here after my dog trainer recommended I check out the store. My dog has been eating grass, shrubs and paper. After speaking with the salesman, I was given samples of a new dog food. Mickey loves the food and I have noticed less of the odd eating behaviors. Naturally Unleashed has a wonderful selection of high end pet foods and great toys for pets. I will be a regular! read more

This little gem is a wonderful spot for your families pet! They have large grain-free food/treats selection. As well as bowls, accessories etc for your pets. You won't find the traditional crap you would find at PetSmart think of this place as a 'whole foods' for pets. They also give a military discount too. I recently switched both of my dogs over to Taste of the Wild from Purina, and did so with the help of those working at the Glensford Rd location. It was clear I hadn't any idea as to which brands they offered, so the manager came to my rescue! I first purchased one brand, but she urged me to take samples of the other brands just in case my dogs preferred a different taste. She was right, and one of the samples is now my dog's favorite! I have been a faithful customer since moving to Fayetteville. I have snakes, and they are the only place, in town, that always has the feeders I need. At most other stores, I would find mice, but no rats in the right size, or vice versa. Very frustrating. Although I pay about a quarter more per mouse, and maybe 60 cents more per rat, I never leave Naturally Unleashed feeling frustrated. That's worth a few dimes, to me! :) read more

I am so thankful that Fayetteville has a store for our pets that carries high quality pet food. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. One of my dogs had red itchy bumps on his body. I was going to take him to a dermatologist in Raleigh. The owner recommended I try a no-grain food before taking him to to a specialist. It worked and I am so grateful for the knowledgeable owner. The food may cost more than grocery store pet food but in the long run it is well worth the cost to have healthy pets. They carry food that is highly recommended in the Whole Dog Journal. I went to Naturally Unleashed to get my cat groomed. My cat doesn't like baths at home, and neither my roommate nor myself are confident in getting her claws trimmed, so we took her here to get bathed, brushed, and trimmed. They were able to groom my cat and she put up no fuss!!! I will take her back here again. read more

I normally shop at Harris Teeter, but today I finally stopped into this store to grab something for my ever biting and scratching dog. The gentleman in the store obviously could tell I hadn't been in there before and asked immediately if I needed help. I stated I needed a product to help my dog, and was pointed in the right direction, he offered products to me that were needed to help mask the symptoms but then continued to ask about if I had switched her food, if it was a seasonal thing or if it was ongoing. Super friendly and it seemed like he really cared about finding out the source of why she is constantly biting and creating hot spots for herself. He showed me another product that was for seasonal pet allergies. It matched a product I had bought at the Apple Crate about a week ago. I left with some organic ear wash and organic skin spray. Purchased for about 23.00 not cheap but worth the price for the type of products purchased. They have so many great products looking forward to buying more from this store in the future. read more

So the owner, an elderly woman, was kind enough to tell me about how their return policy and if my dog didn't take to the food then I could bring it back in for an exchange or refund. She then went on to suggest 2 x types of treats good for puppies. I bought both in her recommendation and ended up with two bags of something my dog will not eat. It wasn't until I called today that she mentioned to me how the return policy is strictly for dog food and dog food only. She withheld that information and refused to do anything to fix the issue. Very poor service. Would NOT recommend this to anyone. read more
