I happened upon it during a walk. This place has lots of native plants for landscaping, as well as beautiful and healthy flowering plants, fruit and vegetable plants, shrubs, trees, mulch and lots more. They have a small variety of indoor plants, but not much. The nice woman behind the counter told me so when I wandered into the checkout area to look at the indoor plants. They do have some nice succulents and rubber plants, though. Plus pottery and garden tchotchkes. There's also a greehouse that houses the more delicate outdoor plants and starts. It was nice to walk around and be surrounded by so much greenery. When I visited on a weekday, there were lots of people around to help and answer questions. Everyone I encountered was friendly, but they also knew when to just leave you alone and let you (me) bask in the beauty of plants.

I liked the signs they had by each plant and tree - the prices were clearly shown, but they also have tips for watering, sun, etc. It made it seem a little less overwhelming for a plant newbie like myself. I arrived at 10 a.m. right when the garden opens, I noticed that there were just three or four other customers walking around looking at flowers. There is no clear marking as to who works here and who is a customer so I walked around saying hello to every person I approached, hoping that someone would stop and ask me if I needed help with anything. That was not the case. When I finally did see who I believed to be an employee, I approached her and said hello. I received no answer or response, as if she was distracted and had better things to do. I walked around a little bit further before deciding that I wasn't going to spend my money somewhere where I couldn't even have the employees greet me. So I came back to my car and sat down for about 10 minutes to just observe the interactions with other customers. I noticed that the female worker who I approached was in fact an employee and did help other customers with any of their questions and needs. I'm not going to make any assumptions as to why I was not helped as other customers were, but if I were asked if this would be somewhere I would refer a friend or family member to the answer would be no.

The massive store is filled with fabulous home decor, plants, clothing and giftware. I think there may even be a little hardware scattered in there. There are several buildings including a greenhouse and outdoor garden center. The outdoor center is currently filled with Christmas trees. There is also a little cafe/coffee shop if you need some nourishment. I stopped by this week to check out the abundant supply of Christmas decor. Prices are high, but if you're a discerning shopper, you can find some deals. I like that I can find things here that you just don't see anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful, but you have to wait your turn for help because they are busy this time of year. I picked up an air plant and some bulbs to plant. I was tempted by STEM toys for my granddaughters. There's plenty of parking.

While I was there today (and I'm just a home owner/DIYer) I saw contractors come and go, but also some female home owners too, buying anything from a few rocks to stuff to fill a little tow behind trailer. Everyone that worked with me, and everyone that I saw helped, were given the same great service and treated with respect.
