I've seen quite a few comparisons of this place to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, and while there are some similarities, I still don't think Natures Pantry stacks up. Now that may seem like put down, but not entirely... Nature's Pantry is a fantastic local option with fresh produce and healthy/natural alternatives to the usual food items. It's definitely a cut above other local grocery stores, but does come with a bit of a higher price - which I feel is worth it when it comes to things you're putting inside your body. if you're going to make a larger scale shopping, Adams is still the way to go but Nature's Pantry is absolutely worth a look. Sure it it's not a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe's, but the likelihood of this area ever getting a store like that is close to none, so we should all forget about those places for now and concentrate on what we have, and at least we have a place like this! read more

I like this place cause it's not to far from home and you can get things here that the regular supermarkets don't carry. But lately they have been messing up with their pricing. As you can see in the pics i posted, some of the so called sale prices are higher than their original price. This has happened on more than one occasion and I've pointed it out to staff before, but unfortunately it's happened again. I don't know if they're under new management or if they have new staff that don't care. I'm just a bit disappointed and hope they get their act together soon. read more

I'm never disappointed with Nature's Pantry customer service, Food, and groceries.Nature's Pantry have flavorful food for all types of allergies and sensitivity, and healthy eating. Their food in full of flavor and quality. Their customers service is always the best and the food prices are great. Today was running late with my groceries and I made it just in time before closing. I mentioned that I didn't see that potato salad and that I was craving for their potato salad. Let just state, this review is for the very rude staff. Obviously, it's a clean place and has the specialty items you would usually get at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, etc, but this area doesn't have those so this store is our only option. I've been coming here for a *while* and I have really experienced quite a bit of sass and rudeness from the staff. Today was a new level. "One of" the managers Donna/Donnette, was over-the-top rude when I tried to return two boxes of Mac and Cheese. I tried to make the first at home and the cheese packet was hard and like pebbles, quite rocky, not powder, so I didn't even eat it. Therefore, I returned one box and was expecting a return of both boxes (as the other cooked box was inedible) but the staff member literally said I have to bring my pot of cooked Mac and Cheese in the store! They will not refund me. (Fun fact: they don't refund at all, only exchange). I asked for a manager, guess what, that's her. "One of them" she said. I asked for another, and her response was that it was not possible. I said I will review the store for her rudeness and lack of assistance. Her response? "Beautiful." Basically just know you're coming to pay too much for your groceries but try not to communicate with anyone, because they will bite your head off. read more

I used to love this place, even though most items are overpriced. Lately I have found the Slstaff at the check out to be rude. Because of that, I will be shopping elsewhere like Adams or Matter of Health. This is a very great place to shop! A lot of the costumers don't realize the staff have to wear masks for their entire shift since it's required for the job, but then customer's refuse to keep masks on for the short time it takes to buy something in the store. Not to mention the constant abuse the staff face while keeping the owner's policy of mask wearing while being in the store. The majority of the employees couldn't be bothered to help us. They claimed they couldn't look anything up to see if they had it in stock. I asked then how do you order anything when you run out, she said she didn't know. When the manager finally came out of the back she said if we have it it should be here (where we were looking). One girl came to look with us because I wasn't giving up and she suggested I check another store that she actually gave me the name and directions to. The fact this place doesn't have 5 stars amazes me great atmosphere, even greater food selection yes a little expensive but you pay for what you get by far the best produce I see around and consistent with what they order I'm always happy when I go there ( which is once or twice a week) pretty much do all my shopping here if I ever have to look for something or have a question I know all I need to do is ask recently they got a new baker and kitchen staff and the Baked goods and food they cook has been off the chain! I love this place but more times than not I've been coming in and the deli/frozen food section refrigerators have been non working. If this was a one time thing I would not even comment, but I will give it a week in between stopping in and they are still down. Been having this problem for months on and off... and I am unable to get all the products that I need due to the cooler outage. It's a shame because this place is normally great! read more

I can get lost shopping inside Nature's Pantry. In a good way. They have fun products to peruse. When I'm in town, it's my first stop to stock up on my favorite staples; they have brands not available in regular grocery stores (Hail Merry desserts, great selection of raw and paleo products, etc.). Then there are the sections with beauty products and household items and gifts, jewelry. So fun to browse and sample. My only complaint is the deli counter: they could have a broader selection of items. And some things look a bit dried out at times. For a store that nice, the deli offerings don't quite stack up. Oh, a final plus: the staff! They are knowledgable and very helpful. read more

A nice store with good staff. It is comparable to the Fishkill location with these pros and cons: Pros: Nicer atmosphere, a more well stocked deli and store in general, it feels like. Until recently, they had a better frozen and refrigerated selection than Fishkill. POS system is set up properly so you swipe your card and then select Credit or Debit on the pin pad. Cons: The deli is more expensive. There is no traffic light to get out of the plaza (the one they had was a DOT temporary to compensate for the bridge that was being rebuilt), so it's easy to get in, but a royal pain and borderline dangerous to get out. The prices are even HIGHER than Fishkill. Good lord. read more

Horrible customer service . Bought a bag of coffee chia bites a week ago. Tried one today and found it was stale. I went back to the store to return them and requested a new bag or a credit. I was told without a receipt they would not refund or credit me. Who saves receipts for food? They sell you stale food and then refuse to make good on their wrong. I've never encountered this type of response in any food store. Oh , the manager had the nerve to say " besides it was opened" uh, well how would I know they were stale if I didn't open the bag and try one? Terrible customer service. So , if you buy anything at this place you better save that receipt, otherwise your stuck paying $8.00 for a bag of chia bites that are stale and your only recourse is to throw them out . read more

I love this place. Since we don't have a Whole Foods close by, it is a welcome addition to the area. They have a fantastic selection of organic fruits and veggies, meats, snacks, dairy and frozen items. They also have a great deli with cold and hot food. Included in this are vegetarian and vegan choices. I recently had some overnight guests who eat gluten free, and they were delighted with the many choices that were available. Some of them were things they hadn't even seen before. No, it's not cheap, but healthy food almost never is. Their vitamin selection is phenomenal. I also love the beauty and personal care products. I even buy household items from here, like fabric softener and detergent because they have less chemicals than the main stream brands. I highly recommend this store for those adopting a healthier lifestyle. read more

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. They have an incredible selection of natural cosmetics such as soaps, deodorant, and other related items. Also, they have an expansive collection of organic foods. The produce is on the pricier side, but as they say, you get what you pay for. This place is definitely a place to shop if you're used to the likes of Whole foods. People in the area should exclusively shop in this store for their food, and cosmetic products because it promotes a healthier lifestyle overall. I set out to find a store that was similar to whole foods and this came pretty close. The prices were in line with whole foods and the selection was very good for a smaller size store. Their bulk dry organic food area has a great selection as I looked for the textured vegetable protein and found it , yay! The hours are very accommodating as well as the parking. Love this place and I'm glad they moved from Newburgh to New Windsor as that's much closer for me, plus it's a bigger store and has plenty of parking. The prices for items are to be expected as this is an organic health food and product store (although sometimes I find my favorite yogurt here cheaper than the big chain supermarkets). I love their hot bar and smooth station, but I took one star away as the food for the hot bar doesn't last after 6pm during the week which is horrible for us that commutes out of town/County for work. read more

Came here after looking up places to shop for ingredients I need which I can't find in the local stores nearby. This place is in a small mall next to a dollar store. That threw me off but wanted to give the place a chance. The store had a lot of fresh fruits and produce. Def more expensive then other stores however i get why the prices are so high. The only thing I did not like is that THEY DO NOT TAKE COUPONS! So if you been getting coupons from your favorite foods, sorry they won't be honoring it here. The deli staff when I asked to try a sample of the kombucha they looked at me like I was crazy. I didn't know how to work the kombucha bar so I asked for help because I didn't want to spill anything. They didn't come from behind the deli counter (they were not busy at all keep in mind), instead they told me to hold down the handle slowly. Well I knew that but it was the fact that I was unsure of how fast/slow the drink would come out. Not a big deal but service should have been better. Tried the chicken soup at the deli bar they have there, not the best. Still giving this place a chance though. Came again on another visit, cashiers were friendly and staff I guess on this day was more helpful. read more

The staff if friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help when you cannot find something. It's nice to have an organic grocery store in my neighborhood that sells quality food at fair prices.
