Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh! Get the Swiss Villa milk! It is how milk tasted 55 years ago! It is worth the price, and the glass bottle is cute! Also recommend the fresh Italian herbs. I think there is fennel in it , not sure though. It really does taste so much better than in the big box stores, and is alot less. NW has a large selection of herbs and gelatin capsules so you can make your own herbal 'pills'. Saves money over buying premade, and the quality is better at NW. Cardamon was excellent. Checkout the back area for sale items if you are on a budget. Love Garden of Life vitamins and supplements, highly recommened. If you don't eat right Garden of Life is the way to go. Faithful customer for 20 years. Nature's Way has over 210 different kinds of fresh bulk herbs and over 50 different bulk snacks, rice, beans, and dried fruit. NATURE'S WAY Prejudice and discrimination has reared its head once again. This time, it's at Nature's Way on Northampton Street in Easton, PA. If you hate discrimination in any form, you may find this interesting, informative and something that can lend itself to helping you make better buying decisions. However, if you are part of the disease of discrimination then you may very well revel in this written complaint. The following is a message I sent to the owner (new owner) of Nature's Way. ******************* Dear Kathy, I was in your store today to buy three bottles of alkaline water. There was a rude and callous cashier who rang me up. After giving me the total, she asked me if I wanted a bag. There was another customer being served (white woman) ( I'm black), but she wasn't asked if she wanted a bag for her one item; her item was bagged automatically. I told the cashier (don't know her name-orange blouse) that she couldn't be serious to ask if I wanted a bag for three quart-sized bottles of water. Yes, she was serious and rude. She and the other cashier teamed up (made me feel very uncomfortable) to give me the history of the variety of customers who want their items bagged and those who don't. Both were rude. My view is this: if I'm considerate enough to make purchases in your store (when their are other places I could go), I want your staff to be considerate enough to automatically bag my items (without asking me "do you want a bag" just like they did for your white customer). The woman who asked me if I wanted a bag, was the same woman who asked me the very same question when I purchased several glass containers several months back. As I recall, I bought four or five clear glass bottles. She asked me if I wanted a bag (how ridiculous is that?). You were at the counter at that time, and you took over. You wrapped my bottles in brown paper, bagged them and finished the sale. I appreciated that. Your actions were professional and appropriate. Karen, I detect there is some favoritism for skin color exhibited by your cashier, and, frankly, I'm never wrong about such things. Especially when there's a clear and present example unfolding right at the moment and right before my eyes (i.e., the white customer who wasn't asked if she wanted a bag and me, the black customer who was asked). As I was leaving your store, I heard these women laughing at me as though it was some joke that I felt and thought a certain way about their discrimination. The ignorant have no sense of what's right or wrong I guess. Since I'm greatly put-off by the action of your staff, I will no longer buy from your store. Furthermore, since I own and operate and online local and national review site, I will post my concerns on my site as well as the other sites that host reviews of businesses. Your staff can make or break your business. I'd get rid of Linda's "leave-overs" and start fresh with staff that mirrors my business attitude and beliefs and best business practices. ******************* Since I didn't hear from Kathy (I included my email address, and it's been over a week), I'm left to conclude she doesn't care how her staff treats black customers. We always support and purchase from small business owners. We do not frequent large chain restaurants etc. Went into this business on Thursday. Found what we wanted and approached the register. One of the workers/or owners I am not sure had her back to the register and customers while she was busy licking repeatedly the bottom of her lunch bowl like a starving rescue dog. She finally noticed my husband and I and put the bowl down on the counter she'd just had her hands in and finally offered to help us. No washing or wiping of her hands or face. Very off putting and we will not be back. No excuse for bad hygiene, manners in a health food store or any place of business. read more

Two stars because there's some affordable stuff in bulk--spices, grains, cereal, etc. I went in here to buy some herbal supplements I had read about. I discovered that only two kinds of people must shop here: the wealthy and fanatics because they would be the only people able or willing to pay these prices.
