Nothing fancy just needed regular cuts. I should have listened to the alarm bells that you never could get a live person on the phone and always had to leave a message, however, I have busy days myself and understand as long as I receive a callback. It wasn't until I left a message at 4 pm (their message claims to be open till 5 pm) about requesting to skip a cut the following day and to review some invoicing concerns that the problem started. I never received a callback but wasn't concerned since I was sure that they received the message and would call back to cover my concern. It wasn't until my security cameras alerted me that they had conducted service when I called back, was forwarded again to voicemail, that I became a little irritated. I left a second voicemail and emailed advising about my previous voicemail and that I was not expecting to pay for the that day's service since I had requested the cancel in enough notice. I was contacted back by John (I assume the owner) who was extremely combative, " I don't see what you don't understand about the invoices.", proceeding to cut me off, and said I would be required to pay for that day's service even though he admitted that he was busy the day before and didn't get around to it. This all could have been avoided by just a simple tone of voice change, customer service skills, and a simple invoice break down. Unfortunately, Top Cut Lawn Care has lost out on a faithful customer.
