I continued to check everyone for days after she left (she did tell me to check as a precaution). I found what I thought might be nits in one of my children's hair. I took pictures and videos and sent them to her as instructed. She said she wanted to come back just to check, to be thorough/safe which I appreciated. THEN SHE NEVER SHOWED UP AT OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. She didn't call or text me to tell me she was going to be late or needed to reschedule. She just no-showed and then stopped replying. I called her repeatedly, I sent her messages via text, I sent her business page messages. I reached out in every way possible to try to give her the opportunity to make good on her business guarantee. She just ghosted me. I spent over $300 and the job was NOT successful, and the money was NOT returned. Both of those things were promised. I maintain that she was very nice. She was teaching us about lice etc. I would not have expected this disappointing, unprofessional behavior. My family struggles financially. This was a big spend but I felt it was needed- for our health, for my children, for my sanity. I felt this warranted a warning to all local families. I don't hang out with people who can just throw $300 away and I imagine many others are like me - earning - HARD and exhaustively - any dollar you earn.
