Within a month or two of installation, the grout in our master bath had cracked and was starting to fall out in many places. This is just one example, there were other shortcuts taken (not ensuring the floor was level under tile, sloppy painting drips & stain on white stair risers, not filling nail holes, etc.) but really the biggest reason I could not recommend this company is because they would not answer or return my calls. Not one to hassle, I tried calling 3-4 times over the course of a month, leaving 2 gracious messages. Each time I called, I was cut off and redirected to voicemail. It is apparent that All About You Remodeling & Design will not stand by their work. I would be happy to update this review were I to hear back and see All About You stand by the quality of their work in our home, but for these reasons, I cannot recommend their work.

Not only did they do an excellent job but they were very meticulous about their work, I bought a used home in Madison that needed a bunch of work done, not only was I surprised of all the things they were able to do but this company was able to come in and do everything from start to finish. From the drywall work and finishing, to the crown mold and trim work installation, to the painting and flooring installation of luxury plank vinyl. Hands down I would recommend this company to anyone needing work done in their home, they were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

This started out as a good thing, we ordered a vanity top for our master bathroom but it turned…read moreinto a nightmare! They were very lax about calling you with information concerning when they were coming to do the installation and any follow-up afterward was always initiated by us. During installation the installers almost broke the granite, had my husband not been watching they would have. He told them to just slide it in because they were trying to "wiggle" it in from the top down the sides. In the process they caused a lot of damage to our drywall, we had scraps, scuffs, and lots of chunks torn out of it. We also had a side splash piece that was chipped and they used the wrong color of chalk! They told us that the company would come out and fix the drywall and get the side piece. We waited a day and when we didn't hear from them, we called the office and were told that they were not made aware of any damages! We sent them an email on Sept 18 stating the damages including pictures. After about 2 weeks of calling about when someone would get out to fix it and pick up the side splash piece, we finally got the owner out to look at it, about another week later! He stated that the contract said there might be some scuffs to drywall and we stated that these damages were much more than "scuffs"! He finally agreed to send someone out to fix it and said if they couldn't do so very soon then he would give us a $100 credit so we could get it fixed. We waited another week or so and never heard from them, so I finally called my charge company and disputed the charges because we were having so much trouble getting our side piece fixed and reinstalled and the drywall money. On Oct 9, 2023, they came to get the side piece and returned it on Oct 16th. On October 16, 2023, the owner finally called back to say he couldn't get on his contractor schedule "anytime soon" so he would just pay us the $100. He called on Oct 18th to say he wanted his money now that he had completed the installation of the side piece and reneged on paying the $100 for the drywall! I told him that I had released half of the bill and would release the other half when he paid us the $100 he agreed. He refused and went ballistic screaming at us on the phone! He accused us of using the system to get a free countertop, screaming at us that he wanted his money back in cash not redeposited into his account through the charge card because "we couldn't be trusted!" He even showed up at our house and continued his rampage! He did pay us the $100 in cash but still insisted that we pay him the other half of the bill because he didn't want to wait for the charge company to redeposit it, we told him we would not pay him again, and he just needed to wait just like we waited on him. It has been a nightmare dealing with him! The worst business experience we have ever had!!!

Everything went well, removing of the previous tile backsplash and the countertops went smoothly. --- The counters were installed the next day and when the new tile came in, the crew taped with painters tape, cardboard down on the floors to protect them, fixe some drywall behind where the tile would be to ensure the tile adhered correctly and did a great job of installing the tile. WOLDE coordinates the previous tile backsplash removal and install of the new tile. (This was important to us as 2 other very good companies did not have their own tile companies and that required us to call the tile companies to coordinate, whereas WOLDE coordinated the counter tops and tile. Price was better than the other 2 estimates we received. (WOLDE, nor the other 2 companies we asked estimates from have their own plumbers and prefers the customer coordinates the plumber. (disconnect plumbing from the sink, then after counter tops where installed, plumber came back next day to reinstall the plumbing. (if you have a Gas stove, make sure the plumber disconnects that too.) We are very happy with WOLDE.

With his help and my research, we decided on Behr Premium Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain and Sealer (It is supposed to last 6 years on horizontal surfaces. Hope it will.) Peter did an unbelievable job prepping the deck by pressure washing. We had a lot of mildew in the shaded areas and he took great care to get it all before sealing the deck. Our HVAC guy came that afternoon and thought we had a new deck. Peter's crew did a great job of the deck, the railings, and the support edges for the deck. Everything is smooth and the deck looks brand new. We have 8X10 rough cut lumber from an old cotton warehouse in Huntsville that is 150 Years old that we used 50 years ago when we built the house for beams and support on our front porch. The lumber really needed lots of TLC and it was lovingly provided to keep this piece of history alive for us.

Had them build a 25 ft. X 40 ft. pad with driveway. Concrete pad started cracking within a week of…read morebeing poured. Cracked completely across the 25 ft width. They invoiced for 4000 psi concrete but delivered 3500 psi concrete. Owner low bid to get the job, then complained the whole time, when I held him to his verbal agreements. Did not pack the dirt or use gravel filler for the drive way before pouring the drive. Did not stir the concrete when it was poured. only used 2 runs of rebar in the footers. Was supposed to pour 18" Wide X 14" deep footer, only poured 14" wide footer. Would not recommend, pay for a real professional company, will cost a little more but you will have a better job and less headaches down the road. I doubt that if I have any more issued that they will honor their 1 year warranty. I can send more photos to any one that is interested.
