So happy to have Açaí Express in Lake Nona!…read more Stopped by recently (third time) it's quickly become a favorite for both me and my daughter. My go-to is the mango coco bowl with banana, coconut flakes, and mango cubes--so smooth, fresh, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of the fruit, and the portions are generous. What really makes this place special though is the staff!! They are incredibly sweet to my daughter, which makes dining in feel relaxed and stress-free as a parent. It's such a welcoming environment, and that alone makes me want to keep coming back. This is one of those spots that works for after the gym/ lunch or just when you want something refreshing and feel-good. Lake Nona definitely needed this and I highly recommend checking it out with friends, family and for a solo date!

The açaí is super smooth and flavorful, and the fruit is really fresh - the strawberries were perfect. Portions are generous too, which I love. The place has a cool, welcoming vibe and the team working there couldn't be nicer. It already feels like one of those spots I'll keep coming back to after the gym, for lunch, or just when I want something refreshing. Lake Nona needed this - can't wait to see them thrive. Definitely recommend checking them out this weekend for their opening!

Use the wait in line feature on the app for sure. It was a game changer for us today when we were stuck in unexpected traffic and got there without having to wait and a table was ready for us.

While Lake Nona offers several options, you and your BFF have found your sanctuary at First Watch at Lake Nona, a spot so popular that it seems to perpetually have a line out the door. The Mid-Day Breakfast Heist: "My BFF and I were on a mission. It was mid-day, the sun was high, and our stomachs were demanding breakfast with the kind of urgency usually reserved for emergency sirens. We needed two things: fresh, piping hot coffee and a meal that didn't involve a 20-minute wait in the Florida humidity. This place is so legendary in Lake Nona that there's almost always a crowd. Fate, however, was on our side. While the 'wait for a table' list was already hitting that dreaded 20-minute mark, we spotted the holy grail of hungry diners: the bar-height tables. We bypassed the queue, claimed our high-altitude seats, and got straight to business. First, the coffee. It wasn't just a beverage; it was a sure-fire 'wake-up and get-running' miracle in a mug. First Watch's signature Project Sunrise coffee, sourced from women-led farms in Huila, Colombia, was the true co-star of the show--rich, bold, and served by the potful. It perfectly prepared us for the main event: The Farmhouse Hash. This skillet is a masterclass in savory breakfast--a bed of seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions, and tomatoes, all under a blanket of melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack. In a display of culinary individuality, we ordered it in two different styles. My BFF opted for hers as a fluffy omelet, while I--knowing exactly what I like--requested my eggs cooked well-done. The result? A fresh, savory masterpiece that satisfied every mid-day craving we had. And let's keep this between us--shhh--but this place easily takes the crown over Keke's. Whether it's the more upscale, modern vibe or the fact that the food never misses, it's our undisputed go-to. Just don't tell the rest of Orlando, or we'll never get those bar seats again.

We ordered the steak and eggs and smoked salmon Benedict. The steak was cooked to the right temperature and seasoned well and came with three eggs and potatoes. The smoked salmon Benedict had a fair amount of smoked salmon but I wished the poached egg was a little bit runnier. The place is very cute and had plenty of seating. It wasn't super busy for a Saturday morning so it was easy to get a table.

Something told me to look at the breakfast sandwich and I was shocked. I ended up ordered a chicken empanada and a tequeno in case I didn't like the sandwich because it looks awful (doesn't taste good either) In total with the additional purchase I spent $30. I feel like I got ripped off badly. They slapped two deli slices on this sandwich and they gave it to me on hamburger buns. This isn't what was advertised on their order screens or website. I wish I could get a refund because I didn't even enjoy the first bite and ended up not eating. The empanada was another disappointment. Flavorless boiled chicken mixed with some potato with a lightly seasoned rosemary crust. They give you some kind of garlic sauce with it and it's to distract you from flavorless food. The sauce can't always save food. Very overpriced for mediocre food. The coffee was the only decent item I had. Not even the tequeno was good and it's just a stick of cheese wrapped in dough. You're better off spending money at a drive through. For the amount of money I paid I am Highly disappointed and upset with this experience. Definitely do not recommend wasting the drive or your money to come here.
