The truth is, I also buy a lot of things at Claire's for myself. They have a lot of hip accessories like sunglasses, jewelry, hats and bags. The best gift I found there were locked diaries for tweens with cute owl designs and a bejeweled red one. They are also among the few stores that have gloves, we're not really a glove-wearing country so that's a bit hard to find before Claire's. And they also carry the Prism line of Katy Perry. They often go on sale offering buy 1, take 1 promos for items of the same price. If you ever chance upon one of those, I suggest going big on the shopping because you will always be able to find young girls and those young-at-heart to give the items to.

They sell colorful hair pieces as well as cute earrings, belly rings (for the rebellious kind) and even boy band merchandise. Just so you know, i didnt buy any of the Justin Bieber stuff when he was super famous. In grade 6, all my classmates wanted to have my denim wallet which had glitters and the world Angel stitched on the front part. When i told them it was from Claire's their faces looked a bit upset because they knew they wouldnt be able to buy it right away. When i saw Claire's open their first branch in BGC i remember feeling what i used to feel when i wouls enter their US stores before. Unfortunately i was already working so i decided to be happy for the preteens instead. I still pass by once in a while and delight in the cute stuff they have.

They definitely have better clothes now than from when I last visited a few years ago at another mall. If you need to update your wardrobe without going all the way to Greenhills for cheap finds, Artwork's worth a visit!

Artwork is a great artsy place that sells 1. cheap (SUPER YAY), 2. local (support local stores, yes), and 3. unique clothes, hats, beanies, bags, pouches, wallets, shoes, and notebooks. Artwork is all about their prints. The designs here are so funky and hip you will not know which to choose. If you're into art and odd and weird then you will love the stuff at Artwork. I got so giddy entering here and went ahead and bought something (I couldn't resist). The shirts are my favorite because they're super comfortable, and you can pair it with any type of bottom and you won't look plain because the designs are so loud and out there. You are literally wearing/holding/writing on/carrying an artwork and I think that in itself is amazing. The designs are all made by hand either transferred or done directly on the fabric. You can come in here with P1000 and come out with at most 5 shirts (they sell tanks for under P200).

Given that, a lot of the things here do have a bohemian vibe to them, which is nice and refreshing to see a boutique a little more defined in style. The style may come off a little mature, but they always have things that are a little more youthful and hip, so they have a nice mix of things that would attract the more discerning customer. They also always have sale items out by their entrance, which is sure to hook any passerby in the hallway. I was looking for something to get my mom and my sister in the US, and I glad I found them as I found these great, big, patterned tote bags that aren't too wild, but just showy enough--perfect for my mom and sis--that I got for two hundred apiece. Not bad at all.

However, once you notice it, be sure to enter and navigate the vintage store well! They sell vintage blouses, shoes, accessories, bags, and other items that fall under the same theme. It may be small in area, but it's big on quality and beauty!
