Just like Trinoma, Ayala's Fairview Terraces dared to challenge the SM Mall granddaddy of the area - SM Fairview. But it's facing not just one competitor, since it's right beside a Robinsons Nova Market as well. It's like witnessing three titans from Shingeki No Kyojin have this huge fight while us little people and businesses scramble away out of fear of being squashed by their humongous feet.
PROS: Fairview Terraces' restaurants are one of the reasons you'd get out of your way to go to that particular mall. They have selections that are not found anywhere else nearby; We are fairly impressed at how this mall particularly exerts effort when it comes to environmental sustainability, even if it may be just on the surface. You could see how they build their architecture around natural fixtures of the area like old trees, and how they make their open-air areas more well-thought-out through landscaping.
CONS: It's fairly new, so not all of the spaces has been filled up yet with establishments. But there's lots of on-going construction inside promising the opening of new shops and restaurants, so that's something to look forward to.
TL;DR: This is one of my favorite malls in the Metro because of their restaurant and store selections, and well-done architecture and interior design. read more
