The miles of paved highway is surrounded with white sugar sand beaches and towering dunes and beautiful water with lots of parking and not so many people at least the day of our visit. I guess this would be considered a barrier island but regardless of its designation it's one of the most beautiful stretch of beaches that I've come across and I've seen plenty - if you're planning a visit be prepared to spend the day the memories you make here will last you a lifetime, there aren't a lot of amenities if you consider the vastness of this place and please pack out everything you pack in this is one of the most pristine pieces of land I've visited and deserves the respect from all that visit. If there is such a thing as a bucket list item this definitely qualifies and if you're lucky enough to be able to spend some time here just do it - it exceeded all my expectations and I hope to return again soon...

We did the 1.5 to 2 hour Sunset Dolphin Cruise and had an absolute blast!! It was unbelievable how many dolphins we saw out in the bay! Five of them even swam with the boat when we were heading back!! We saw three jump out of the water and flip in the air! It was honestly like we were watching a movie instead of seeing it in real-life!! The sunset over the water was gorgeous as well!! I simply can't say enough about this cruise!! I very, very highly recommend!!! **Tips** ~ Reserve your spot online on their website to be sure the cruise/tour you are wanting to take doesn't fill up. ~ Bring some cash or your credit/debit card as there is an onboard snack bar. ~ There is a bathroom onboard, but it's similar to a porta-toilet, so you might want to make sure you use the restroom before boarding. ~ There is a Coast Guard-certified lady who shows everyone how to put on, fasten, tighten, and take off the life vests, as well as telling everyone where they are located onboard, if needed. Not every dolphin tour has life vests (we have taken a couple in the past that didn't), so this is important and just another positive about this company!

Still no phone call and tonight when I called again... now the change of command has magically been scheduled at 1700, even tho earlier I was told it was a steak dinner at 1700 (I was told this at 1600 today (8 Jun) and then at 1955 I was told there is a change of command that has been planned. This is an odd way to treat a fellow vet and potential prospecting member. This is why organizations like this are dying all over the country.

On our initial conversation concerning my joining a group cruise Ms Harvin was eager to book me in a balcony cabin with an obstructed view. Had I not noticed the problem, I would have been stuck looking at a lifeboat the entire cruise. Ms Harvin became noticeably agitated when I explained my preferences for our cabin based on my husband's medical needs. By perusing the cruise line's website, I was able to quickly locate a cabin that met my criteria. Ms Harvin's quoted price for the same cabin was considerably more than quoted online. When asked about the pricing Ms Harvin was perturbed but stated she "put in the wrong code" and made the price adjustment. I booked the cruise through her on November 2. Her receipt indicated the final payment was due on July 24. On December 15, I received an invoice from Ms Harvin indicating a payment of $1234.58 was due. She even included a fee that was not explained until March 19th when she informed and billed the remainder of the group. Ms Harvin continued to harass me with a barrage of invoices throughout January even after I responded that I would be following the cruise lines' payment schedule which was indicated on the initial receipt that she issued. Ms. Harvin appeared to take on a retaliatory stance when she created two separate groups for meals onboard the ship. One group of 19 consisted of those that paid her exorbitant fee and the other group of 8 that questioned her pricing. When asked about the groupings during a Zoom conference she said, "oh, I just assigned groups randomly". During that same conference she also provided incorrect information concerning the cruise line's policies. However, when questioned about her statements she did follow up with an email correcting her misinformation. I'm my opinion, if you want quality service for a memorable trip, do not deal with Juanita Harvin of EurWay Tours.
