I have severe dental office anxiety from some horrible experiences, and I was thankful to see a friendly and professional front office followed by a kind and thorough dental hygienist. Dr Timothy Pfountz followed with a detailed explanation of my X-rays and discussed our plan for the replacement of some older fillings that my former dentist was monitoring. Heaven forbid the dentist is in a rush to go home- you can have the unlicensed hygienist finish the drilling and filling. This occurred after the dentist asked her to only do one task while he worked on another patient, and then she did several other tasks she was not at all qualified to complete that he told her NOT TO DO. She didn't stop when I attempted to stop her. He came back briefly at the end, and when I asked a question about one of the fillings, he rolled his eyes and ground the tooth down while saying it didn't need it. I have nerve damage on that side so I was not asking for it to be ground down, just had a question about a sensation. He also did not stop when I protested. Horrifying and appalling. Left with pain, trauma and several damaged teeth (one chipped, one cracked, and several ground down beyond recognition). They also ground down my canines for no discernable reason. The office girl is nice, that's the only thing even somewhat acceptable here. I was new to town, so it took me way longer than it should have to make a legitimate review instead of only warning the friends and family I know personally. You couldn't pay me to go back.

I recently moved my elderly parents here and needed a new dentist for them. They have worked with me to get them seen. I only wish they would ask patients to wear masks. I had a temp crown that very day, and now have the permanent one perfectly in place. I've found my dentist here in Lebanon. Icing on the cake: they are true Patriots! If you need a dentist in Lebanon you won't find a better one than Patriot Dental.
