Denise told me that I "don't have to shop there". I told Denise there was no reason to be rude and asked for her manager. Denise handed me a business card and said 'Jim' was the owner and I could call him. I walked to the other end of the store to continue shopping. About 15 minutes later, a man later identified as Jim approaches me. "I HEAR YOU HAVE A PROBLEM" exclaims Jim loudly. I looked around.. "I'm sorry.. who are you?" I asked. I am Jim the owner, and I heard you have a problem. I explained to Jim that I merely questioned as to why face masks were not being enforced if it was required in Shelby County. Jim explained that Millington is not required to follow Shelby County laws. He stated the health department has been out several times already. I told Jim that I didn't appreciate his lack of customer service skills and he should not be yelling at me in a full store with tons of people around. I left the store.. Jim and Denise followed me out. I will not return here. Definitely not a reflection of the sweet people in Tennessee that I always hear about. :(

I was randomly on their website…read moreand saw a great ad for $1 clothes (original retail of $60 and under), $2 clothes (original retail of $80 and under) and $3 clothes (original retail of $100 and under). So I hopped in the car thinking I'm going to score some nice summer clothing at dirt cheap prices. Nope. I first showed the cashier then she told me to show the manager. He then told me he will not honor it because the clothes are already at discounted prices. Wow. Very upset. No corporate number to complain. I thoroughly looked at the ad. No fine print stuff. Thankfully Bargain Hunt is next door. More organized and spacious. Bye bye 1/2 of 1/3!

This small store receives a shipment each week. Prices start at $8 on Saturday & then drop everyday of the week! Sat = $8 per item (Best Selection!) Sun = $6 per item Mon = $4 per item Tues = $3 per item Wed = $2 per item Thu = $1 per item Fri = 50 Cents per item My friends have told me about this place for a long, long time. THEY LOVE IT! They go ON & ON about all that they have found here. Sadly, I simply never made my way to Bartlett or forget when I'm in this area. It's true: There are bins filled with completely random Amazon items. You are not supposed to open the cardboard boxes that contain each item (but how else are you supposed to see what's inside?) I found most people opening the boxes, although you are supposed to take each item to the counter to be inspected with a BCD employee. I came on a Tuesday ($3 Day) & I did go home with a few items. The workers are absolutely friendly & helpful. Shoppers were nice and patient with each other. All sales final -but at $3/each -it's worth the risk. My items work just fine. I would likely find them on Amazon for $10 - $20. I was expecting a bigger venue, but this works just fine. I really have no complaints, other than I should have listened to my friends and come here a lot sooner!
