Yeah, I know. That was a mouthful, but that's my sitch. Every interaction since initiating contact with MRS&B has been handled with extreme professionalism and respect from the initial screening calls, to the awesome paralegal (Haley Branham) who was assigned my case. Haley has been a breath of fresh air in helping me traverse the muddled up VA bureaucracy. Her help in submitting my case to the VA, and ensuring the quality of submitted evidence was nothing short of outstanding. My hat is off to her. Thank you so much for the personal touch you put on everything you do! The service I found so fantastic, was the level of attention given to my case, which I'm sure was part of many others the law firm was handling at the time. As far as cost, the reason this firm appeared attractive to me is that if you win, they settle for 20% of your VA payout when your benefits begin, or you pay nothing at all. So, at the end of the day, I feel great about writing these fine folks a 5 star review. Win or lose, you cannot go wrong with this firm. 'nuff said!

I've worked with other law firms in the past, and I've always felt like I got a cold shoulder. I would recommend her and the rest of the law firm to anyone that needs help. This firm is the worst that I have ever experienced. 3 Years ago my wife and I were rear ended by…read morea negligent driver who was under-insured. This firm took our case and rushed to settle mine for a measly amount because they really did not want to go any further with litigation. My wife on the other hand was already disabled before the accident which required her to be ambulanced to the nearest hospital. Did I mentioned it was 3 years ago? During the last three years, these people hardly never contacted us to update us about the case. As a matter of fact, my wife was the one to contact them on occasion to get an update...(I'm talking about months in between). They never gave us any number amount that we was [attempting] to get. The case worker was a liar who gave us different stories when they were contacted. This is the kicker though... After 3 plus years of waiting for this case to end, these people had the nerve to call us to advise us that they were going to retract the litigation without prejudice, and advised us to get another lawyer if we want to settle or go into litigation AGAIN! WHAT?!? After 3 FREAKING YEARS OF WAITING... ALL FOR NOTHING?!?!? NOW WE'LL HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN! If anybody is considering these incompetent people, you'd be better off either getting a different attorney, doing it yourself or getting someone like Fred Flintstone to represent you. Because these people will fail you BIG TIME!

Run, don't walk away from this firm…read more My ex-wife used this firm while we were going through our divorce. Our divorce was very amicable. We did not need to go to court or even to any kind of sit down with lawyers. Her and I basically ironed everything out ourselves. My ex decided she wanted a lawyer to make sure she did everything correctly. Choosing this place was a huge mistake that cost her a lot of money. This firm kept asking for more money to do this or that or anything that needed to be done. By the time it was all over, my ex had paid far, far more than what she thought she was going to pay. Does this show how amicable the divorce was? The first thing I am saying this place did wrong, was overcharge her, not me! When I was first contacted by this place, I was asked to upload a ton of financial information to a shared file site. I uploaded over 50 documents to the site the next day. About a month later I get a voicemail from them saying that they need these documents to proceed. The voicemail also said that they would like to be able to proceed without further litigation, which will be needed if I don't upload the documents. I called them and told them that the documents were uploaded a month ago. The lawyer checked and sure enough, the documents were there! Really? You didn't check first? You just left a message about taking me to court to get the documents you already have? Crazy! There was a lot of terrible communication like this while dealing with this firm. There was more than one occasion where they asked me for something they already had. There was one time that I received a call asking for something they said they asked for already. I checked all previous correspondence with them and had no record of them asking me for what they wanted. The communication was so bad that during one phone call I had finally had enough and told them that they need to get their act together and learn how to communicate with each other. I told them I was tired of them wasting my time. It was incredibly frustrating dealing with these people. My ex had the same issues with them. They are very unorganized and sloppy. I could go on and on, but this is already long enough. The one other thing I wanted to mention is how they shipped papers to me. They put no more that 20 pages of documents into boxes and shipped them. I will add pictures to this to show the boxes. They were crushed and reused boxes. Is this how you would expect a quality lawyer to ship documents? I couldn't believe it the first time it happened, then it happened again! I'm sure this place will post a response to this review, like they have with other negative reviews. There is nothing they can say to wash away the fact that they don't communicate with each other, are disorganized and not very well run. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a quality lawyer. Edit: As I knew would happen, this firm did post a reply. A pathetic one at that. I didn't ask you to address my review. I'm simply trying to alert others to your unorganized and unprofessional practices. If you cared for the environment, you wouldn't ship less than 20 pieces of paper in a box that could easily fit over a thousand pieces. I have zero plans to contact you to discuss anything. I am so grateful that I will never have to deal with your disorganized practice again!

Eatmon review…read more Warning! If you do anything please read this post and truly hear this warning about Eatmon law firm. I have worked with this Law Firm since 2020 and have waisted THOUSANDS of dollars. They are crooks and have zero empathy or care for anything besides money, in my opinion. I originally left my now ex husband in 2019 and hired Eatmon Law Firm in 2020. I hired them to do a separation agreement to get my divorce started, as well as a will just for protection and a plan for my children and assets if I pass. My now Ex husband and I completely agreed during our first mediation and everything was set in stone. Seemed easy... lie. My divorce wasn't finalized until February 2021 due to Covid, but was ultimately settled and finalized. I honestly felt this was a great Firm at the time so I reached out again Two years later (2022). I reached out for a couple things because sadly my ex husband decided to play games at the expense of our children. I then hired Eatmon law firm again in 2022 to handle a DVPO case for my two children, custody and child support modification order since he already wasn't adhering to the original agreement. Ultimately we were paving way to have his wages attached rather than him saying he will pay. The original attorney that handled my case in 2020 was no longer with the firm so they appointed a new attorney,Ashley, to the case. Ultimately, Ashley and Eatmon law firm drained my bank account and got nothing done. While under Ashley I gave Eatmon over $10k to get the DVPO and draft up an order for custody and Child support so we could ultimately attach his wages since, again, he wasn't paying. During that time the only thing that got completed was the DVPO which was signed outside of court because my ex and I agreed upon it, and custody which was done directly with me and my ex and a mediator through the court, so waisted over $10k during my time with Ashley under Eatmon. Now here I am 2026. My ex is still not paying and owes me over $41k, so I took it upon myself to start a show cause/contempt case against him, on my own. Why would I need an attorney when I originally hired one who did all over these agreements and court orders, right? WRONG! I go to the court house with all of my paperwork and ready to get this started and learn that the agreement that I paid for in 2020 and other motions and everything else in 2022, isn't court ordered nor did my law firm say I had one in my divorce decree, so I have to do a breach of contract which is a whole different process. At this moment I'm so confused because WHAT!? What did I pay for then!? I called up and spoke to Tabitha who then spoke to Christine who said " it typically isn't their policy to incorporate the divorce agreement into the divorce decree". So I would have to do a breach of contract and they would need a retainer of $10k for that and it may cost more depending. I am at a loss! I have emails from the original attorney saying this agreement would be stated in my divorce decree but now Christine is saying no, sorry, not policy. So now here I am, with over $25k paid to Eatmon law firm from me, and have nothing to show! Run, run, run, Save yourself! They are absolutely horrible people who really don't care about you, your family, your situation or anything else besides cash going into their pockets, They should be ashamed, Again, In my opinion.
