Eatmon review Warning! If you do anything please read this post and truly hear this warning about Eatmon law firm. I have worked with this Law Firm since 2020 and have waisted THOUSANDS of dollars. They are crooks and have zero empathy or care for anything besides money, in my opinion. I originally left my now ex husband in 2019 and hired Eatmon Law Firm in 2020. I hired them to do a separation agreement to get my divorce started, as well as a will just for protection and a plan for my children and assets if I pass. My now Ex husband and I completely agreed during our first mediation and everything was set in stone. Seemed easy... lie. My divorce wasn't finalized until February 2021 due to Covid, but was ultimately settled and finalized. I honestly felt this was a great Firm at the time so I reached out again Two years later (2022). I reached out for a couple things because sadly my ex husband decided to play games at the expense of our children. I then hired Eatmon law firm again in 2022 to handle a DVPO case for my two children, custody and child support modification order since he already wasn't adhering to the original agreement. Ultimately we were paving way to have his wages attached rather than him saying he will pay. The original attorney that handled my case in 2020 was no longer with the firm so they appointed a new attorney,Ashley, to the case. Ultimately, Ashley and Eatmon law firm drained my bank account and got nothing done. While under Ashley I gave Eatmon over $10k to get the DVPO and draft up an order for custody and Child support so we could ultimately attach his wages since, again, he wasn't paying. During that time the only thing that got completed was the DVPO which was signed outside of court because my ex and I agreed upon it, and custody which was done directly with me and my ex and a mediator through the court, so waisted over $10k during my time with Ashley under Eatmon. Now here I am 2026. My ex is still not paying and owes me over $41k, so I took it upon myself to start a show cause/contempt case against him, on my own. Why would I need an attorney when I originally hired one who did all over these agreements and court orders, right? WRONG! I go to the court house with all of my paperwork and ready to get this started and learn that the agreement that I paid for in 2020 and other motions and everything else in 2022, isn't court ordered nor did my law firm say I had one in my divorce decree, so I have to do a breach of contract which is a whole different process. At this moment I'm so confused because WHAT!? What did I pay for then!? I called up and spoke to Tabitha who then spoke to Christine who said " it typically isn't their policy to incorporate the divorce agreement into the divorce decree". So I would have to do a breach of contract and they would need a retainer of $10k for that and it may cost more depending. I am at a loss! I have emails from the original attorney saying this agreement would be stated in my divorce decree but now Christine is saying no, sorry, not policy. So now here I am, with over $25k paid to Eatmon law firm from me, and have nothing to show! Run, run, run, Save yourself! They are absolutely horrible people who really don't care about you, your family, your situation or anything else besides cash going into their pockets, They should be ashamed, Again, In my opinion. read more

Total rip-off. They definitely took my money and got nothing done for me. They were very nice when I first met them and they seemed to care. However, they were completely ineffective, got nothing done for me, and ended up dropping me as a client. I would stay away from this law firm. read more

Absolutely only in it for the money. She give very bad or completely false info, ei: take your spouse of your health insurance while your still married or take a vehicle from a spouse with no court order. She will charge you for reading a 1 sentence email. Even if it is something your doing for her. Will promise a lot and deliver very little or close to nothing. God forbid if you fall behind in payments. She will withdraw from your case, even if you just ask for a little more time to pay. She bailed on my mother within last month of a 14 month divorce. After giving about $23k plus and being behind $4k plus, she withdrew. My mother said she would pay balace and give another 6k. It still was not enough. So if your looking to spend $35-45k on a divorce and "maybe" end positive for you, this is your gal. She is the perfect definition of a stereotypical blood sucking lawyer. read more

In my experience this woman and this entire firm are terrible. There is a lack of care, communication, and professionalism. There was a court appointed attorney appointment set for my son I was never even told about until after it happened. You will sit down, pay your retainer, and good luck hearing from them again. The opposing party was not following the court order and after calling this office multiple times emailing multiple times I was brushed off from Chris Eatmon to one of her minions. Never heard from her again. Once I brought this to their attention, they tried to withdraw from my case after I had already tried to fire them from the beginning. Do yourself a favor and go find someone that can actually do their job. read more

Ms. Eatmon eagerly took on my child custody modification case and was positive she would secure a more favorable visitation schedule for me with my children. It was a contentious case so she highly recommended litigation over negotiation as previous attempts at an agreement and mediation were shut down by my ex. She advised me she should be able to handle the case for the $7500 she required up front for funding the trust account. I was led to believe she would be personally handling my litigation but found after replenishing the trust account for the case to the tune of more than $26,000 she had her junior attorney primarily working on my case who had nearly zero litigation experience in child custody matter. In the middle of my case, without any communication to me, she fired this junior attorney which was extremely disconcerting. It made me wonder if I basically flushed the money for legal fees and hopes for a positive outcome down the toilet. Did she fire the attorney for misconduct? For unethical behaviors? Did she sabotage my case? End result after paying Ms. Eatmon's firm more than $28,000 in legal fees I am back where I started before I had her legal representation as she was not able to secure any modification of custody/visitation in my case. Her only comment after the verdict was giving me the name of an appeals attorney and advising me I could appeal. No other offer of any last attempt to secure an agreement for modification of custody with my ex and not even an expression of empathy. Shortly thereafter I get served with a summons to appear in court as she is suing me for $7,000 more in legal fees #greedyattorney #theattorneysalwayswin I would not recommend Ms. Eatmon for any family law matters as she is in it for the money alone, win or lose and has no heart.
