Prior to signing the contract Perry came to the house and gave me an estimate and went over all the necessary details of the job, they were very thorough and very pleasant. The team got there on time. They did a great job because I had two layers of old roofing shingles that needed to be removed. They also had to replace some of the rotted boards that they found in the roof. They cleaned up the yard after they finished working. They removed all debris as well as any nails that were dropped and carted all debris away. They did a Great job. I took pictures of the finished job that I would love to post. Also, with the addition work necessary to remove the two layers of old shingles, I felt the price was fair. One other point each time I called before the job was started to ask questions concerning shingles, as well as after the job they were very responsive.

I was honestly nervous to call after looking at the reviews, in which they called Mr. Perry a "red neck," said he never called back, and that he charged for something and conducted the repairs before getting the ok to do the work. So honestly, I didn't expect much and doubted I would hear from him. I could not have been more wrong. Not only did he call me back the same day I called him, but he had already stopped by to look at our roof (THE SAME DAY I CALLED!). He needed a different ladder to go up to the higher part of the roof and to look at something from inside and he came by again the very next day. He has always been polite, friendly, responsive, honest and completely up front with us. Also, I had 2 other roofers (one storm chaser from out of town and the other local) look at our roof for 2nd opinions/estimates in case our insurance company required them and they were complimentary about how our roof was installed. They said he did a great job. So, don't let these online reviews affect whether you call him because he has been awesome to deal with and the most responsive person we've had out. I also heard from someone in the construction industry that he is very well respected and that he does excellent work. He stays booked out for months at a time but that is because he does amazing work. I highly recommend Leroy Perry and Perry Roofing Contractors.
