The team was very accommodating, had great communication and got us set up for the exact date and time we had hoped for. On the day of our tour, we met our awesome guide, Michael, at the first brewery and the day began. Michael was a wealth of knowledge, not just about the beer industry itself, but the craft beer movement in Asheville, the history of Asheville, and so much more. At every brewery he took us to he really had the inside track, knew everyone there, and was able to give us the perfect blend of history, education and beverages. Since we had already been to one of our planned stops earlier in the week, Michael was quick on his feet to identify another venue that had a fantastic selection and location. One of my favorite parts of the tour was getting to experience certain types of beer that I would otherwise shy away from. At the start of our journey, Michael asked our group what we liked, what we didn't like and from there, he really expanded all of our pallets and showed us just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what Asheville breweries have to offer. Even if you've been to every brewery, even if you're in Asheville expert, everyone can benefit from this tour, it was informative, entertaining and refreshing.

Burial and Green Man did their best but they could not compete in the end and not everybody has what it takes. Only one trophy can be awarded but I still liked the other breweries we went to. If I were to review them separately, I would give very solid reviews. Eurisko's would get the best reviews though. I don't know why they call bachelor parties "parties" when they require a full weekend. Like if you were to have a bachelor party and it were only for one night, that would suck. We booked the pub cycle tour last minute and we had a blast! We had a bachelorette party that was also part of our tour and all of us had a great old time. Tebbe is a masterful storyteller with a deep command of Asheville's history, economics, and politics, and he weaves them all together to bring the city to life. He traced Asheville's story from its Native American highway of towns spaced 20 miles apart, through every boom, bust, and upheaval, right up to the residential growth reshaping the city today. What could have been a dry history lesson of dates and buildings became a beautifully described story of how Asheville became the city it is now. Tebbe was incredibly patient with our questions, genuinely engaged with our curiosity, and made the tour feel like a conversation with a new friend rather than a scripted presentation. He gave us a rich historical background of Asheville before guiding us through the streets, where we stopped at various points of interest. Along the way, he highlighted restaurants, landmarks, and historical sites dating from the 1700s to today. His storytelling made the city come alive, and I learned so much more than I expected. I honestly can't say enough about Peter--he was truly phenomenal. If you're visiting Asheville, this tour is a must! This is a tipped based program. Torin, our guide was absolutely wonderful. The tour started with introductions among our small group (total of 8 people). Then Torin explained how to use the E Bike along with great tips. He led us around Asheville, stopping at various locations to share its history and architecture. I felt safe and secure throughout the ride and the bikes were comfortable. Worth every penny. Added bonus, we saw a bear and her two cubs! Highly recommend! (FYI...I am 60 years old and my husband is 59.)
