How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

Our home is over 100 years old with hardwood floors that looked their years and many versions of…read morewall-to-wall carpet, with the hundreds of nails and tacks. Wentz came highly recommended by another contractor who did our upstairs ceilings. The estimate was very reasonable for what we wanted done--all of the hardwood in 3 rooms, an upstairs hall and the steps to the second level. On an early Monday morning Tom showed and we went over the final request, agreeing on some additional work. Since I pulled up the carpet and tack strips and yanked the tacks (took about 7 hours of my time) Tom agreed to do the additional work with no additional charge (he originally was going to deduct my time from his estimate. After our agreement, my wife and I left for a week in the Poconos (too much dust would appear from the sanding; the floor coverings had their associated odor; and we wouldn't have been able to navigate around the home). When we came home we were awe-struck--it was like Ty Pennington's "Extreme Home Makeover"; however, unfortunately for Tom, he wasn't here on the Sunday of our return to experience our excitement and pleasure with the looks of the "new" floors; they are gorgeous and the additional work that Tom completed made them all the better. Tom has photos and, since he seems as proud of his work as we are pleased with the end result, I am certain that he will share them if asked. Extremely professional and the quality of work was outstanding. I had all the remaining carpet in my home removed which consisted of 3 bedrooms, a hallway 27 steps and a family room. We replaced all the steps with hardwood and the bedrooms, family room and hallway was replaced with LVP. When I tell you these guys are good, They are good. They laid those floors in record time and paid attention to detail. They cleaned up after themselves so well and that was truly appreciated. Our front door project was one that my wife and I had been dreaming of for over 15 years, so…read morechoosing the door and the contractor was a very big decision for us. We chose Shane and Clear Vision Renovations because they were highly recommended by a friend. When the old door was finally removed, Shane and Mike had pointed out rotten wood around the door frame, and also rotten and moldy wood underneath of where the front door sat and also just inside of the front door where water had been coming through for years. Shane and Mike fixed everything. And replaced all rotted and damaged wood to brand new condition. The company we ordered the door from did not do their calculations correctly so the storm door was not going to be a possibility which was very upsetting because that was part of our dream to have the front door open and have fresh air coming through the screen on the storm door during nice weather. Shane and Mike made the impossible possible by building a custom build out with custom trim so that the storm door would fit into place and our door looks magnificent!!!
