I…read morehave been a loyal customer for years, visiting at least two to three times a week to ship both personal and business items. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful, but my recent interaction has made me question whether I will return. During my visit, I needed a box to ship my item. I noticed several empty boxes on the floor near the trash, as well as many overflowing from the outdoor trash cans. When I picked up one of these discarded boxes to use, a new employee, whom I believe was named Mariah (i belive) informed me that I was not allowed to use it and had to purchase a new one instead. I explained that I have never been stopped from doing this before. It makes little sense to force a customer to buy a new box when there are numerous empty ones being thrown away inside and outside the store. Insisting on an upsell rather than letting a customer reuse trash is poor customer service. While I was temporarily leaving to find a box elsewhere, I noticed the staff actively gathering the empty boxes to discard them. This experience was highly frustrating and fell far short of the customer service standards I have come to expect from your business. As a frequent customer who relies on your services for my business, I hope you will review this policy.
