It's the perfect place to visit during their regular weekend open hours and spend time perusing the wares, and it's nearly impossible not to leave without something. The shop is a welcoming, inclusive space and the owners Karis and Ivan are some of the kindest, most caring individuals and really go out of their way to maintain a positive atmosphere that celebrates the weird and wonderful. Keep an eye out for resident shop cats Roxanne and Ruby, and monitor the Dungeon Oddities Instagram page for any changes to their regular operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

We had to go and check them out. The owner is incredibly kind and answered all of our questions. The shop is an amazing collection of unusual antiques, taxidermy, hand made pieces, jewelry, cards, stickers, t-shirts, vintage flannels and more. There is lots to look at and something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. In addition to all the oddities, there is also a strong message of acceptance and inclusion. What a wonderful addition to this small town. I plan to be a regular.

Renninger's is part farm market, antique market, and flea market that's only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking is located on all sides of the building with entrances everywhere. One thing that overall impressed me was the lack of empty booths, with all but a handful occupied by at least something. The farm market portion had various vendors with prepared foods, barked goods, and a few fruit/vegetable vendors. The antique portion had a wide variety of vendors; the setup is almost all booth style. Saw items including military collectables, glassware, media, coins, racing merchandise, and comic books. This portion had a little bit of everything. The flea market vendors are out back under pavilions but were already packing up by early afternoon. If you are a local, a trip to Renninger's could be worth a stop once a month. Would I travel a longer distance to come here? Probably not.

If you have courage (and a mask/gloves) take a dive into the used "fashion" booths. You can find interesting stuff whose fabric can be used for crafts, etc. There is a guy selling some Nazi crap, so be aware. There's food to eat, vegetables, meats, cheeses, snacks and more. When the outside area is being used for sales, you can spend hours walking around. Don't wear nice shoes, just comfortable ones. Parking is abundant. We have visited a few times over several years and I've never been disappointed.

Although this store wasn't on my thrifting radar, once inside I had a case of Deja vu and believe I might have been here in the late 90's. Not really a thrift store, it's a bit strange in the merchandise they carry, as well as layout. There's room set ups consisting of used and antique furniture pieces, many priced much higher than they should. Off to the side is "buyout" type merchandise (think Ollie's) - which was reasonably priced. In the back were older items, well past their prime that perhaps were from a yard sale or picked from someone's curb on trash day. Further in the back is new, modern (although some a bit tacky) furniture that's cash and carry and/or rent to own. Even with the displays the space feels like a warehouse filled with stuff. Somethings were admittingly unusual (throne chair, suit of armor), but most were mundane or dated items you could get anywhere for less. There's a distant smell throughout like musk and mildew. The cashier/front desk had a pawn shop feel and I wouldn't be surprised if that's how some of the items were obtained. There seemed to be some "regulars" hanging out just for something to do that didn't appear to be making purchases. There's no one on the sales floor to assist you. So while I love thrifting and hunting for unusual pieces, this store didn't cut it for me. It's suffering from an identify crisis for one, and has too many things going on to really know for sure what it is - antique store, yard sale, salvage, etc. Prices were unreasonable for the majority of the items for sale, customer service non existent, and I wouldn't pay them another visit.

Here one can find a multitude of treasures including furniture, pictures, collectibles, jewelry, toys and items of every kind. Since I hadn't been there he graciously told us the lay of the land. I really enjoyed looking through the market. As with any antique mall there are vendor booths that are well priced and then insanely expensive. There is a lot to see for sure. One main drawback is this is a "CASH ONLY" business. If you read my reviews you know I hate cash only businesses. Luckily I had plenty of cash- as it turns out I ended up not purchasing anything. I was tempted to purchase a few items but did not. I highly recommend visiting- I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area. They have a little snack stand and a nice. Lean restroom to make your shopping spree comfortable. I did not eat here but I thought that was great! I was tempted by the enormous Valentines cards for 1$- but there were no envelopes. There was a cute seasonal booth where everything was a dollar and some booths had decent sales.

Found this thrift shop while heading to Pottstown. At first glance it doesn't appear to be much but once inside you're transformed to a very nicely decorated and organized retail space - at least in the first few rooms. As you stroll thru the building the organization and display become less and less enticing into you reach the back which is literally like an unheated warehouse with stuff everywhere, somewhat organized. I did enjoy myself digging thru and discovering cool things but was deterred by the pricing which was more in line with an antique store than a thrift store. However quality for the most part (with the exception of those back rooms) was decent. In one of the rooms were handpainted portraits on large canvases, tons of them of different everyday, ordinary people. I enjoyed looking thru them to see if it was anyone I knew. Literally there was tons of them! Upstairs you'll find clothing and shoes, which felt like raiding a nursing home closet but not in a cool vintage way. Very matronly and not of current styles. Also clothing was very limited, probably primarily because of lack of space as the upstairs is a loft like area. There is a room for boutique items - with prices to match, only the brands were mall brands and nothing special. It is hard to maneuver in those rooms, and especially to social distance. I didn't feel comfortable up there at all. They did have some good stuff, but again nothing I was willing to pay that much for so I ultimately left empty handed. I will say this, don't let the run down, drab exterior fool you, if you're into the hunt like me this is one place you'll want to explore.
