I provided my attorney information to the office and was under the impression that they were already in contact but the later find there was no affiliation. My trust was completely lost. I've been going to the correct practice which has a similar name and I've felt 1000% better with only 4 visits after being in terrible pain and trouble walking. last visit to Active Family Wellness I expressed that I was in pain and I mentioned to the office manager that I was in too much pain and I wanted to skip the tense pressure before the adjustment and I was told "You have to do it". which was so painful it brought me to tears and I didn't feel any better. Additional I was made to sign paperwork agreeing to pay a detailed breakdown of the when I have health insurance which I was completely caught of guard by. How can I know what the projected cost be for medical treatment? What ICD coding would be used for long term treatment? I don't appreciate being sold this "fallacy" of care knowing that I wasn't the first patient this happened to. Disappointed.

We love this approach, it can take a little bit of time but in the long run, doing the exercises, you are fixing the cause of your problem. The office is cozy with wonderful views to a green area with lots of trees, parking is free. If is raining, there is a covered parking in the building basement available too. Once you make an appointment, somebody from the staff will call you the day before to confirm and remember your appointment which I personally love it. The staffc s excellent and detailled oriented. It wasn't painful, but it was a source of deep insecurity. We don't know when or how it happened, but the crooked-ness was very apparent. I took her to see Dr. Go about a year ago, and she's been getting treated ever since. Prior to the initial assessment, the front desk was very helpful in tracking down my mom's complicated and nuanced insurance provided by her union. They even wrote it down for us for future reference. On first visit, Dr. Go methodically examined my mom through X-rays, listened to all of our concerns, explained the treatment plan carefully (English is my mom's 3rd language), and made both my mom and myself feel comfortable throughout the whole process. He also explained that my mom's shoulders were likely the result of an injury (possibly decades ago). Now, about a year later, my mom's spine and neck placement has dramatically improved. Her shoulders are much closer to level and she's able to look head on. She's expressed that she has greater mobility. She's been getting so many compliments from coworkers and friends (which she happily shares with me). My mom looks forward to getting adjusted by Dr. Go each week. I even may have asked him "how many appointments do you think it will take? a couple dozen or so?" He explained how he "didn't think so at all" and that he "prefers to fix patients for the long-term in as low a number of visits as possible" and that my issue "shouldn't take more than 3-5 appointments before we should re-assess whether there is enough progress to continue to use his treatment, versus seeking a surgical solution" WTF?! I was thinking, "What kind of chiropractor does that?!" After completely repairing those issues, I came back to him to see if he could fix my shoulder too. He is now in a new office and this review is about his new downtown Fairfax location. Received absolutely top-tier service again, and for a significantly lower price. (Take advantage of him now, because he is clearly undercharging in order to show the community what he can do.) Dr. Farid took as much time as I felt was needed (and significantly more than any other doctor I have ever been to) in order to understand the issue. After listening to the full history of my injury, he did some doctor-y movement-y stuff and identified the problem. He then explained the underlying cause of the injury and his therapy plan. At that point, he began my treatment. His website is not lying when it says he provides highly-specialized treatment. That is exactly what I saw.
